Sweet Corn Cake

This was such a great treat with our homemade chicken, black bean, and corn enchiladas. It did however take over an hr. I decided to follower another reviews suggestions on using creamed corn, less butter, spleda over the sugar and omitting the heavy cream. The taste was very good and felt light. Will definitely use again, maybe trying it in muffin pans next time. Thanks for a great recipe

Quinoa Tabbouleh

Best Brownies

This is the first time I've made brownies from scratch and I will NEVER buy boxed brownies again. NO joke. I also made the icing/frosting and it was more than amazing and didn't last very long. Next time I make these I will definitely double the recipe! This one's a keeper.

Eclair Cake

What a great dessert! Followed ingredients, although I used 1 box of fat free/sugar free box of vanilla pudding mix. I also used another reviwers recipe for the chocolate frosting. Overall an quick and easy dessert, very cost effective as well.

Sweet Marie Bars

What a nice treat! This was a very quick and simple recipe. I found the icing hard to smooth out but I used my majic bullet to mix together and it came out smooth. The only problem I had was that I did not solidify, still was pretty runny even after it sat for over an hour. I also tasted the butter heavily, next time I make them I will use 1/2 the butter called for. Overall, easy and tastey snack.

Ravioli Dolci (Sweet Ravioli)

I have to give this a 5 just because they are so good, it almost doesn't matter how long they took. I was a little frustrated with the dough but didn't put it in the fridge, I put it in the freezer instead, until just about hard. They were easy to cut and fold together. I took another reviewers idea and also used neutella. WONDERFUL. I'm glad I didn't use the pie filling, I fell like it would have just been an ordinary strudel type cookie. This is a keeper!

Herb Vegetable Orzo Salad

Brought this to Father's Day cook out and what a hit! Everyone was a little confused at the Orzo (they all thought it was seeds!) But got rave reviews. I used what veggies I had, red and yellow peppers, cuccumbers and olives. Didn't want to add cheese since it was a hot day. Great flavor, will definitely be my pasta dish of choice

Spiced Sweet Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Excellent! I used roasted red and yellow peppers from Trader Joe's, added a little bit more garlic (for my taste). The only thing I will change when I make it again, is to add some of the juice from the garbonza beans to smooth it out. Ate this for breakfast and lunch w/ Soy and Flaxseed tortilla chips from Trader Joe's! Thanks for such a great recipe!!!

Mexican Corn on the Cob (Elote)

I make this all the time! You would think this combonation doesn't go very well, but it's SOO good. In winter we use canned corn. I also use Parmesan cheese and cheyenne pepper. To cut out the fat, I do not add butter to mine, but the hubby loves it on his!

Dutch Babies II

Well...Although my husband and I thought theses were WAY TOO doughy, my kids LOVED them. Pure maple syrup for my son and powdered sugar for my daughter. They were interesting in texture. I didn't have a cast iron skillet, but followed other reviews...I won't give up on it..just need to figure it out!

Awesome recipes! Per previous reviews, I too doubled the recipe and put it into a 9x13 dish and I am glad I did! More for us! Because my husband cannot have chocolate, I used butterscotch chips. The brownie came out perfect and smelled wonderful! Will definitely be making again

Caramel Shortbread Squares

These were soo good. Although this was my first time making caramel, I don't think I cooked it long enough because it's still just a lille runny, but it started to burn on the sides of the pan, so.. Other than that, I think I did pretty well. My family loved them as well. Will deifinitely be making again. I will try a different shortbread recipe, I found this one to be very flaky.

Brown Sugar Brownies

Wow! Not at all what I expected. Because my husband cannot have chocolate I thought I would give this recipes a try and I am glad I did. I added about 1/2 C of butterscoth chips, these turned out perfect. Thanks for posting such a wonderful alternative to chocolate brownies!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

I found these cookies very cakey. I used a sugar-free box of vanilla pudding 1.7oz. I used a little less than 2 C of milk Chocolate Chips. Pretty good recipe, probably will keep searching for that "one" recipes

Raspberry Cream Cheese Coffee Cake

This was a very tasty recipe. I actually cut down on the sour cream by a 1/4 of a cup and I thought the taste was still a little overpowering. I also added 2 TBSP of the preserve to the cream cheese mixture. All in all a pretty good recipe.

Cranberry Upside-Down Sour Cream Cake

I love this cake. My mom made it for us on Christmas (changed it to 1 C sour cream) and used a vanilla sauce that consisted of 1/2 C melter butter, 1 C sugar, 1 tsp Vanilla, and 1/2 C evaporated milk...It literally melted in our mouths. We weren't so sure about the tangy-ness to it but once the vanilla sauce was on it it was AWESOME. So you may want to try it with the vanilla sauce. She said it would be calliing our name later that night too, and IT DID! Great recipe.
