About this Cook
I'm a high school senior living with my parents (not for long, though!) I have a little brother but no pets (no that there's much of a difference). I enjoy cooking and I'm feeling kinda geeky for joining an "adult" cooking site.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake. That's it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom cooks a traditional Chinese meal every day and has been trying to train me...not working.
My cooking triumphs
Banana anything. Banana bread, banana muffins, banana whatever.
My cooking tragedies
I don't think there's enough room here for them all. But I will say that I overcook things. I'd rather burn than undercook. Blame it on the fact that I have a dad who specialized in Nemotology (study of little worm-like parasites that can be transmitted through improperly cooked foods).

Deep Dish Brownies
These were amazing! I'm not for the super-sweet brownie so I used dark chocolate cocoa and reduced the sugar by about 1/4 cup. I followed the advice to use only two eggs and also added 2 oz. of chopped semi-sweet chocolate to the top. Delish! I will definitely be making these again.

Crepes
Very good and easy to make! To make it a dessert crepe recipe, I added 1 tsp. vanilla extract and 1 tbsp white sugar.
