Sesame Sirloin Steak

This was delicious! The ingredients were ones I had on hand, though I chose to leave out the hot pepper sauce. I only had about 20 minutes to marinade which was really enough time to flavor the meat well. My 4-year-old who loves to put steak sauce on almost all meat, and especially steak, didn't need any sauce and commented on how good it tasted. A definite "go to" recipe!

Whole Wheat Bread II

This is a great recipe! I made a 32-serving size (3/4 of the original recipe), and from it I got a dozen dinner rolls, one regular (large) loaf, one mini loaf, and crust for a 16" pizza. I didn't have any bread flour, so for the bread flour, I used half all-purpose flour and half whole wheat flour plus the whole wheat flour called for in the recipe. I also substituted honey for the white sugar as other reviewers suggested. My whole family loved this bread, so I will definitely be making it again!

Apple Dip

Great tasting, easy & fast! My daughter asked for some dip to go with her apple slices, and I had it done in no time at all. I especially like it because it uses ingredients I have on hand.

Chocolate Chip Cheesecake I

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! I used chocolate graham crackers and eliminated using cocoa for crust. I put it in the refrigerator immediately after the hour with the oven off, and it worked beautifully, leaving it the springform pan until I cut and served it. There were no cracks in the cheesecake.

Soy Ginger Salmon

This is excellent! My husband and 3-year-old love it, as do I. I often only let it marinate for about an hour or so, and it's flavor is just right. Tastes like salmon I would order in a nice restaurant.

Danny's Macaroni and Cheese

Every time I make this recipe, my husband raves about it! He and the girls, 1 and 3, love it. It's great with cooked chicken inside and a cracker topping. (I use one sleeve of round buttery crackers mixed with melted butter sprinkled on top before baking.)

Applesauce Squares

This was excellent! I used 1/4 cup more flour and put in 13x9" pan for 30 minutes. Then I topped it with a buttermilk glaze. I am going to make it again very soon.

Danish Meatballs with Dill Sauce

This is my new meatball recipe! I had to modify it based on what I had on hand, so I used all pork, half & half, and seasoned breadcrumbs (which I mixed in with the meat). I served the meatballs over rice and poured the dill sauce over it all. It was delicious! My 3-year-old even dipped her meatballs in her dill sauce.

Hasty Chocolate Pudding

Excellent recipe! I don't think I'll ever use packaged chocolate pudding again. If my husband hadn't seen me microwaving it, he would have thought I spent a long time making his grandma's famous chocolate pudding recipe. Great warm or cold!

Herb Roasted Pork Loin and Potatoes

I used a slow cooker with this recipe and it turned out great! I boiled the potatoes for about 5 minutes, drained them and mixed them with the potato seasonings. While the potatoes were boiling, I used the rub on the pork as the recipe instructed and then placed it in the slow cooker. When the potatoes were ready, I set them on top and around the pork and tossed in a can of undrained french cut green beans and cooked everything on high for about 3 hours. This dish puts out a wonderful aroma and is a great meal for family or guests!
