Hot German Potato Salad III

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2007
I have made this recipe so many times now and it is always a big hit. The first time I followed the directions EXACTLY and it was quite delicious. Each successive time I have added or decreased items (usually doubling the sauce) and it still works. My German friends give it two thumbs up for authenticity and flavor.

Crab Rangoon III

I leave out the water chestnuts because of my picky eaters. Then I have to be careful to get away quickly with all my fingers. The crowds devour them. A yummy addition to an Asian dinner or just as a tasty snack because we don't "DO" boring snacks in our house. Thank you.

The ONLY thing I changed was I didn't use the aluminun foil. This recipe is awesome.

Easy Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2011
My sweetheart was out tonight so I decided to make chicken "roll ups" as the kids call them. I am glad she was gone too because she would never have let me roll the chicken in melted butter preferring milk or something less fattening. I followed your recipe to the letter and found it quite delicious. Next time I will add a few herbs and spices just to make this recipe my own. I'm tossing my old recipe because it was more labor intensive and doesn't come out noticeably better. Thanks for a relatively easy and yummy recipe.

Baked Potato Soup I

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2007
So easy to make and a definite "comfort food". This is my favorite kind of recipe. Delicious on its own but totally workable to suit one's particular tastes. Sometimes I add extra bacon or cheese and I am not afraid of the butter. I know some cooks get away with less butter and lowfat milk etc and I suppose that's ok. But when I want the "REAL" thing I forget about calories and enjoy! I hope you do too.

Grilled Cheese with Tomato

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
Have been making this recipe for some time now and love it. Our daughter, in college, is just learning how to cook and simply loves this recipe. She changed the type of cheese because it was on sale and shared her change with us. She used Havarti instead of Mozzarella. Either way it's delicious and goes great with a bowl of tomato soup.

Famous Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2009
Our kids love Shake-N-Bake so I wasn't sure this was going to work because it is so simple. Sometimes you just have to go with what you have. To my pleasant surprise I have served pork chops this way a number of times and nobody seems to miss the old Shake-N-Bake at all. I do add different herbs and spices just for change but it really doesn't need it. Simple is good.

The Best Thai Coconut Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2009
Like many people here I get tempted to tweak recipes. Not this one. It rivals a favorite local Thai restaurant that my Sweetheart and I go to so I resist the temptation to tamper. Some folks might like or expect it to be spicier but for us this is perfect. I wish i could give it more stars.

Orange juice instead of water and this is PERFECT. I am told by every German I know that this is the original recipe. Oh so good!!! Also yummy if Cherry juice is substituted for the water.

Southern California Cioppino

Tried this recipe the first time back in February or March and thought it had too many ingredients. The funny thing is I followed the recipe to the letter and was not disappointed. The flavor is complex and many of the ingredients very subtle. We just made this recipe again recently for guests. They already liked my cooking but now they think I should "Go Pro". Thanks for sharing!!!
