Pesto Pizza

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2007
I also had this on the quick and easy pizza crust, which I cooked for about 10 minutes before adding the toppings. I also added some squares of mozzarella. I don't usually like cold leftover pizza, but I was super excited to have this in my lunch the next day and it was excellent cold too!!

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2007
not only quick and easy, but also really tasty!!! I was afraid that it would turn out super dense (especially because i never work with yeast) but despite how scared I was and how sticky the dough seemed, it turned out really fluffy and delicious!

Pumpkin Apple Streusel Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2006
I've been making these with my mom for as long as I can remember, and they're a huge hit over here in Australia as well! I'm cooking my second batch right now since the first disappeared so fast!

Creamy Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2006
When I made this I halved everything, spices included, and it still turned out great. Maybe next time I'll try just halving the pumpkin, and see if it's even better!

Best Lemonade Ever

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2006
awesome! My roommate wanted lemondade, because here in Australia lemonade is like sprite, and that's just not the same! This was perfect! Thanks!

Corn Hash Fritters

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2006
I've made this before using fresh corn and it was delicious! I used frozen corn this time, and it was still good, not quite as amazing though. It was exactly what i wanted to substitute for cornbread tonight!

Orzo Delicioso

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2006
DELICIOUS!!! I was looking for a recipe similar to one I had at a restaurant and this was amazing! I added 1/2 cup of fresh cream to make it more sauce-y I also substituted chorizo sausage for the hot peppers, and I served it over raviolis. I'm definately making it again!

This was my first attempt at fried rice, and it was a success!!! I halved the recipe, but love eggs so I added some extra. I also put in some corn and bell peppers, i was also very generous with the soy sauce

Sue's Taco Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2006
mmmm absolutely delicious! I didn't have green onion, so I used a little bit of a yellow onion. I also cut some corn off the cob and added it in as well as some bell pepper. I wish I wasn't full so I could eat some more!

Mild Cheesy Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2006
I mixed a half a package of taco mix with the sour cream. It was a little bland, but that may be because cheddar in australia doesn't taste quite the same...

Apple Crisp III

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2006
Delicious! I craved apple pie, but I'm a college student living with a student's pantry! I used the recipe as a general guideline as I only had 1 apple in the house, but it still turned out great!!! I can see why people who followed it exactly gave it such high ratings too! Topped with a piece of vienetta (since I dont have vanilla ice cream) I am having an AWESOME study break!!

Meatball Sandwich

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2006
I absolutely love this recipe! I wanted meatballs and this recipe fit nearly everything I had in my fridge. I only used italian seasoning and used mozzarella cheese, but I am totally satisfied and can't wait for dinner so i can have it again!

Lighter Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2008
This was great! I wasn't really sure about the instructions, so i put the milk, cream cheese, and butter in a pan, heated it enough to melt the butter, then whisked it all together. Then I added the powders and parmesan and heated it until it was all melted and creamy. I served it over angel hair pasta with peas and bacon pieces. It was great!!!

Baked Apples

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2006
It was slightly buttery- but I don't have measuring spoons, so that may have been my fault! I usually make it with oats, but didn't have any- this was equally delicious! I will definately make it again!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: May 21, 2008
I made this for a bunko party and everyone loved it!! I used apples, strawberries, cherries, kiwi, mango, and blackberries. I also used an egg slicer to dice the strawberries and kiwis. It was pretty messy, but not nearly as bad as doing it by hand would have been. I pitted the cherries and then quartered them, along with the blackberries. For the apples I used a peeler-corer-slicer and that made it much easier! I didn't add any preserves, but i did coat it with a little bit of the leftover cinnamon-sugar mixture. It was a huge hit, everyone asked for the recipe!!

Cheddar Puff Biscuits

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2006
These were really good. Next time I make them I will take the suggestion of adding salt. It didn't occur to me while I made them that Australian cheddar is less salty than american, so it was missing a little, but I'm sure they'll be delicious when I make them again in the states!
