Beth's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2006
I can not begin to understand how anyone could give these cookies a bad review! They truly are wonderful. The dough is a bit unusual though. It doesn't seem to come together but rather looks like a bunch of pebbles. Dont worry when you scoop out the dough all you have to do is slightly compress it into a ball(gently just until it takes shape.) I typically make mine larger than a tablespoon. Probably between 1 tablespoon and a 1/4 cup. I like my cookies undercooked so I end up cooking them for the same amount of time the recipe calls for even though mine are larger. The only other thing I do differently is to cut the choc. chips down to 1 cup. Thats how my family likes their cookies. Thanks Beth for the great recipe!!!!

Tzatziki VII

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2006
This is a wonderful recipe! I made 1/2 of a recipe to go with gyros I was making and we had plenty. I started out with Greek yogurt which I think is slightly thicker than regular yogurt. I only had time to drain it about 45 minutes. I shredded the cuc's and let them drain about 30 minutes. The recipe doesn't call for this step but I think it gave me a better result and I was concurrently waiting for the yogurt to drain. When I put it all together I was very happy with the consistency. It was the perfect thickness and tasted just like what is served in Greek restaurants.

Sarge's EZ Pulled Pork BBQ

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2006
I've made this recipe many times and I absolutely love it! I add 1 tea liquid smoke with the broth and coffee. This really helps the flavor. After its done cooking I shred it and toss with bbq sauce and put it back in the slow cooker to heat it through. Serve it on onion rolls and OMG its the best thing thats ever passed your lips!!!!!

Koula's Best Ever Chicken Gyros

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2006
Made this tonite and the whole fam loved it. I let the chicken marinade for about 1/2 hour then grilled it. It was very moist and had a terrific flavor. It definitely needed salt and pepper to finish the seasoning. I served it with Tzatziki V11 from this site instead of the plain yogurt. I made only half a recipe of tzatziki and we had plenty. This was a great recipe as well and complemented the gyros perfectly.

Spinach Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2006
After reading so many wonderful reviews i was excited to try this recipe. I was totally disappointed!!! Maybe it was due to the sugar. I love sweet and savory combinations but found it tasted strange in this recipe. My hubby and son love deviled eggs but I ended up throwing out most of these.:(

BBQ Glazed Homemade Meatballs

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2006
These meatballs are the BEST! We loved the sweet tangy sauce. They make a quick and easy dinner the whole fam likes. If we have any left over my 17 yr old son and hubby actually fight over who gets them.
