World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2006
Incredible! You won't have any leftovers. I used red wine (merlot) in place of the water. I will make this again and again, it has replaced my mom's lasagna recipe!

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2006
This was perfection. I rolled it out thin but did use almost all of the dough. The nice, thick crust was delicious. I did brush some olive oil on the edges and sprinkled some garlic salt and oregano on them prior to baking.

Exquisite Pizza Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2006
This is really delicious, but a little bit too sweet. I will only use half of the honey next time (as suggested by others). I ommitted the anchovy paste (don't like it) and majorjam (didn't have it) but otherwise made it as described. This really tasted like a special sauce, so much better than the bland canned sauces!

Spicy South of the Border Spinach Cheese Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2008
Excellent! I cut the recipe in half and used a can of hot Rotel instead of the tomatoes and chilis. It was hot - use the regular Rotel if you don't want it super spicy. I'll be making this again. Try it with the recipe for "Mall Pretzels" and dip them in this, yum!

Yum, yum, yum. These were perfect! They take some effort but it is so worth it.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2008
This is fantastic! I butter the inside of my hoagie roll and put it under the broiler to make it toasty and then melt some provolone on top of the meat. Yum!

Garlic-Lemon Double Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2008
This is a truly delicious recipe. Great if you're on a low carb diet. I just substituted grated parmesan cheese for the bread crumbs and it tasted fabulous. It certainly isn't a recipe that fits with a low fat diet though!

Real Italian Calzones

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2008
Incredible!! The dough was crispy and tasted wonderful. These are large calzones - although I added a lot of stuffing to mine. I followed the dough recipe exactly and stuffed them with roasted chicken, broccoli, sauteed red onion and garlic, basil, mozzarella, parmesan, romano and cheddar. Delicious!! We may have these twice this week as I am already dreaming up new filling combos. Thanks!!

Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
Crazy good - used a pre-cooked ham and cooked it in water for about 1.5 hours before following the glaze recipe. My husband asked for the leftovers for dinner the next night - a sure winner.

Tangy Grilled Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
The marinade was very good but I could not get my pork to cook properly. I grilled it for over 30 minutes and it was still completely raw inside. I finally had to cut the pork into medallions to get it to cook enough to eat it. The pork wound up dry. My husband and I agreed that grilling this for 5-10 minutes to get that smoky flavor and then finishing this in the oven would be a better method.

So tasty! I made a least a dozen biscuits for 4 people and there wasn't a single one left at the end of the meal. I will make these again and again!

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
Very, very good. This chili definitely has some heat to it. I add some of the ingredients - cayenne pepper and jalapenos, slowly to control the heat.

Angel Chicken Pasta

Just okay. I thought this would be a flavorful dish and was really disappointed. It tasted like something that came out of a box.
