Apple Crisp I

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2002
Great receipe. We finished it right off, and was asked to make more right away so I cut down the receipe to fit the four apples I had left. Also the second time I added the oatmeal crust to the bottom as well as the top. I will make this every weekend for the rest of fall.

Slow Cooker Lentil Rice Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2002
Others complained about it being to dry and more of a lump than a soup---they were right. I added extra water and vegetable broth to try and make it more of a soup and soaked my lentils before cooking. None of this helped I ended up with a large gloppy lumps. At least I didnt waste to much money on the ingredients.

Chocolate Rum Balls I

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2002
Very easy to make and tasty. I kept them in the freezer and would take one out whenever I wanted a sweet pick-me-up. Will make again and give as gifts.

Baked Dijon Salmon

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2002
I've made this twice now. The 2nd time I made more than the receipe calls for because it was so good. Use fresh Salmon NOT frozen, and good mustard. Second time I added a little more honey than what the receipe called for. This is great receipe that I will be using frequently.

Broccoli Cheese Bake

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2002
Was slightly bland. If I were to ever make this again I would had a thin quiche crust to the bottom. The broccolli and cheese are a nice mix but something is missing...

Spicy Summer Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2002
Tasty, I like things spicy so I tripled the chile. It was a bit to much chile but I will make again next summer.

Flan I

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2001
This was the easiest dessert I have ever made. I was a little confused about the wet towel so I placed the pan of flan inside a larger pan and filled the larger pan until it was at the half mark of the smaller flan pan. Tasted excellent and I received many compliments!
