Alfredo Medallions

very nice. I cooked pork two minutes per side them warmed again in sauce. the sauce was a beautiful Alfredo. best I've ever made. the wine and lemon take it to the next level. I made homemade Alfredo sauce, not from a jar.

Norwegian Butter Cookies

dough was too thick to use in my cookie press. not sure why as other reviewers seemed to have no problem. I added 2 tbsp of cocoa powder and some extra butter to try and soften up the dough. I ended up making a roll and cutting it into cookies.

Caprese Quiche

Excellent! I added bacon and mushrooms. I fried the onions in the bacon pan. I used lots of dried basil. I doubled the recipe and froze extras for kids lunches (in small tarts) and quick meals. I used 13 eggs and some milk and cream. This made three tender flake pies and twelve mini tarts. I also used a combo of cheeses, some homemade. Probably the best quiche I have ever made. I also used strained canned tomatoes as I had no fresh tomatoes.

Easy Indian Butter Chicken

excellent. I did not have tandori masala or garam masala, instead, I added cumin, pepper, coriander, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg and curry. I did the one pot method that others mentioned. carmalize onions, then add tomato and cream other ingredients. once this is simmering, add chicken and VERY slow simmer for about 20 to 30 minutes. Very good and easy.

Baked Homemade Macaroni and Cheese

I used croutons instead of crackers. I added Parmesan cheese to top. I added chopped broccoli and dried nettle for some vitamins. Easy and great. I made a roux before adding cheese and other ingredients to the sauce.

Rockin' Salsa

Very good. I used double the cumin, no cayenne, six jalapeños, one bell pepper and only two table spoons of brown sugar, no white sugar. Marc would prefer no sugar and chunkier. I boiled for three full hours. I did not have tomato paste so I used some homemade tomato sauce. Overall, this is a hit. Worth making again whe the garden puts out lots of tomatoes and peppers.

Playgroup Granola Bars

I cooked it for 25 minutes with no convection on. it really seemed undercooked when I pulled it out of the oven. But it turned out perfect. I added chocolate chips, sunflower seeds and ground flaxseeds. I added half a cup of brown sugar and no wheat germ.

Nice and easy. I added seafood in batches for diff cooking times. There is another recipe that has chili powder, next time I suggest adding that fora more southern flare.

Grandma's Polish Perogies

this was my first time making pierogies. I used the sauerkraut filling recipe on this website. the dough was easy to work with. Just great. To make it easier, I cut the dough into squares instead of circles. I froze the them on multiple layers on one cookie sheet with parchment paper separating them.

Sauerkraut Filling for Pierogi

I used my home made sauerkraut and I added bacon. Plus cooked everything in the bacon pan. Great. I doubled this recipe and only had a little too much for the "Grandmas polish perogies" recipe on this site. I would have ran out had I not doubled this.

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

great. I cooked a FROZEN 3 lb eye of round roast from frozen in just less than 2.5 hours. It was great. pulled it out when the thermometer read 130. Perfect. I placed the roast on carrots and added some water. when the water was evaporated I added some more water and red wine. The juice at the end made great ou jus to go with the beef. Great.

Charley's Slow Cooker Mexican Style Meat

I would rate this recipe 10 stars if I could. I made it twice in three days. I used this inside tamales, they were great. The first time, I cut the roast into big chunks and cooked it that way. Turned out juicier. After the meat was shredded, I put it back in the slow cooker with all of the juices. You can extra paprika and cumin then. This is an easy and excellent recipe. Great with pico de gallo and tortillas.
