Cranberry Orange Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
Amazing cookies!!! Even if people did not like cranberries they loved these cookies. I added 1 tsp almond extract and 1/2 c sliced almonds instead of the walnuts. Like the other reviews advised, i added about a half cup extra flour. I thought the cookies tasted perfect out of the oven, so I didnt frost them. Cant wait to make them again!

Yogurt Biscuits

Reviewed: May 25, 2008
These biscuits were delicious!!! I used whole wheat flour and fruit on the bottom" yogurt. I decided not to add the additional sugar because the yogurt already had enough sugar. Will make again. :)

Garlic Prime Rib

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2007
This recipe is amazing, better than imagined. I had never cooked a prime rib before and most of my family are not even meat-lovers, but they loved this recipe. Followed recipe as directed using a 4.5 lbs roast. The cooking time was a bit longer than recipe stated.

Whole Wheat Muffins

Reviewed: May 2, 2007
Turned out great! I used a half cup of berry flavored applesauce instead of oil, a little over a tablespoon of honey, and 2 cups of whole wheat flour. For half of the recipe, I also added some walnuts and rasins. Will make again.

S'more Bars

Reviewed: May 2, 2007
Delicious!!! Followed recipe and they turned out delicious. Rave reviews from all who tried them. Looking forward to trying this with variations(coconut peanut butter chips, or walnuts). It may also be cute/ less messy if put in individual servings (paper cupcake holders).

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2006
These really were the very best sugar cookies. I have tried several recipes for sugar cookies and none of them came close to this one. Frosting is a must with these cookies.

Southwestern Egg Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2006
Absolutely delicious recipe! I added a diced green bell pepper and Canadian bacon (no salt needed if you use Canadian bacon). I also used a little less green chilies. I made this on Christmas morning and it was a big hit. Even the picky eaters loved this recipe. It is very simple to make and I plan on making it again.

Pie Crust IV

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2006
This truely is Great Pie Crust. I made apple pie and beforeadding the water, I added just under a teaspoon of sugar and a couple sprinkles of cinnamon, and a smaller amount of nutmeg and cloves- It was a nice touch. Next time I think I might added a wee bit more sugar- pie crust turned out wonderfully. It was easy to work with and very simple to roll out. I found that I did not even need all of the water to get the right consistency. Will use again.

Great recipe! Almost fool proof. Added 1/3 cup water instead of 1/2. Didn't use liquid smoke. Will make again.
