Lemon Pie II

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2009
this was the best lemon pie i've ever had. here is what i did. I used a little more than 1/3 and a little less than 1/2 cup of lemon juice. Once i put everything together, i didnt like the color of the pie, so i added 2 drops of yellow food coloring, and 1/8 tsp of lemon extract. for the topping i used 1 drop of lemon extract, and one drop or orange flavoring and mix it in with the whipped cream. U must use more than 1/3 a cup of lemon juice tho. my husband LOOOVEEED it.

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2009
the most amazing rice pudding ever. I used the golden raisins at first, but didn't like the taste of them in there, so next time i made it with the dark raisins instead. what a difference. used about 1/2 tsp of cinnamon. the cinnamon is a musssst. i also used parboiled rice instead. u will not fail with this recipe.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2007
whow! i never had pumpkin bread before. but this was delicious. nutmeg is not allowed in my country, so i used 2 tsp cinnamon instead of 1. i followed the recipe exactly, and can't believe how delicious it was, this is perfect for breakfast. next time,i might make them in cup cake liners instead of a loaf pan. i used one loaf pan for all of the dough. just amazing. and i might also cut a little on the sugar next time, maybe...

Cheese Garlic Biscuits II

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2007
These biscuits are awesome. I used 1 1/2 cups of cheese, and added a bit of baking soda with a little more baking powder than called for. since i didn't want them to look flat. the first batch i made came out good/very good. i got busy doing something, so after 2 hours of the dough sitting there, i came back and finished baking them. now these after sitting for a while came out PERFECT!!! the look of them was beautiful, like a smooth biscuit. not rocky looking like the first batch. You must try them. u'll love them. my whoole family was amazed.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2006
I absolutely loved these brownies. They are the BEST i've ever had. So chewy and moist. I used them in the chocolate trifle recipe from this website, and it was delicious. As for the frosting...What happened to it? Mine was a crumbled mixture, not creamy AT ALL. So what i did was i added 1/2 cup of cream cheese, and it was PERFECT. If you love chocolate, you have to try this. Definately make again.

Chocolate Trifle

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2006
This recipe is soooo delicious. I loved it and my husband made sure he let's me know that he loved it just as much as i did. I used the BEST BROWNIES recipe from this site, and didn't have any condensed milk, nor do they have instant chocolate pudding where i am. So i used regular ready made chocolate pudding (dark) and chocolate cookie pudding (light). I layered it this way. 1. brownies. 2. dark pudding 3.light pudding. 4. dark pudding. 5 brownies. 6 whipped cream. 7. chocolate chip morsels. This is definately a keeper. I love the idea. Next time i will try it with fresh strawberries somewhere in between.

Pizza Dough II

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2006
This Pizza Dough is excellent, i was so suprised! I couldn't believe i made it... Hubby and kids loved it!!! No need to buy frozen pizza crust anymore. I didn't have wheat flour nor bread flour, and just used all purpose flour, and like suggested by other members, i seasoned the dough. Like i said, it was excellent even like this...5 Stars
