Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2007
I thought it was very tasty...Only suggestions, I used unsalted butter and added about a tsp of salt to compensate. I also think you might want to bake longer than 45 minutes if you want the liquid from the apples to caramelize more. Otherwise delicious!

Lisa's Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cake

Reviewed: May 4, 2007
I used this recipe twice, once for 3 tier birthday cake, I shaped as pig with strawberry buttercream, and one for cupcakes that i topped with peanut butter frosting. It is so versatile. I tend to use Duncan hines, both the devil food and dark chocolate varieties work great. I highly recommend this recipe if you are crunched for time and have something that takes a while to decorate, this way the focus is less on the cake preparation. (but the flavor, moisture, texture is superb.)

This is one of my staples...I have already made it three times and it always gets rave reviews. Super easy, and hearty vegetarian soup.

Russian Tea Cakes I

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2007
A bit of a warning...let cookies cool completely before dipping in sugar, otherwise the sugar melts all over and it is difficult to fix.

Favorite Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2007
I made these with margerine once and with butter once...definitely think margerine is the way to go, unless you like harder cookies...either way they were very easy to prepare and yummy.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2007
I have made these twice now, and people are telling me I should sell them...the cake part is sooo soft and delicate...you can see the black threads of the banana. They smell amazing. And the crumb topping is wonderful. If you are reading this, go out and make them!

Rugelach

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2008
I made these this past weekend. Oh my god. 48 cookies gone in 2 days! They were a huge hit. I added some mini chocolate chips in and cut down on the amount of walnuts and raisins to compensate. I also sprinkled the tops with cinnamon and sugar as suggested. They were moist and flaky. I will definitely make these again!

Chocolate Mint Cookies I

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2008
These were some of the best cookies I have ever made and I bake quite a lot. I followed the instructions to a T and they came out perfect. Very moist and chocolaty and the Andes Candies on top were amazing. Definitely will make again!
