Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2012
Solid. I used a stand mixer w/ dough hook. Put salt and flour in mixing bowl and then poured yeast/oil/sugar mixture in. I think I used about 4 cups flour. Kitchenaid did most of the kneading. If you want more flavor, you could certainly add some herbs and/or spices but the original recipe is just fine as-is.

Strawberry and Feta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2010
Awesome. used 1/2 the oil. Used Agave Nectar instead of honey because that is what I had. Marinated shrimp in some of the dressing and then grilled and served with salad. Will also try with spinach. Thanks!

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Reviewed: May 25, 2009
this was great! I didn't have quite enough sauce but I'll DEFINITELY be making it again w/ more sauce. I followed advice of others and only used flour to thicken sauce at the end.

Guinness® Corned Beef

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2009
So good! The sweetness of the beer and brown sugar really balance out the saltiness of the corned beef. Per other reviews, I put 4 lb. brisket in crock pot w/ can of Guinness and 1/2 can of water--I used seasoning packet. cooked on low for 8-10 hours. I roasted my cabbage, potatoes, onions and carrots in oven.

This is going to be on my st. paddy's day menu every year! I lowered oven to 350 and baked for about an hour. I also sprinkled sugar on loaf every time I basted. Thanks!

Slow Cooker Guisado Verde

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2007
This is really good! I took the advice from other reviewers and I replaced the tomatillos w/ salsa Verde and I used 1/2 can of broth instead of water. I also replaced the seasonings with Adobo Seasoning from penzeys. This is a keeper in my house!
