These are my favorite meatballs and I've been making this recipe for a couple of years now. I'm only giving 4 stars because I tweak them a little from the original and then they are AMAZING! I always double the recipe - one because my husband devours them, and two because I like to have a lot leftovers for easy lunches or sandwiches. I use 1 lb. of ground beef and 1 lb. of hot Italian sausage (we like a kick), I only use about half the onion and saute it for nicer texture, and I replace the skim milk with ricotta. Seriously, these are some of the best meatballs!
