Just an ordinary guy with a family that loves to eat what I cook. I try to give them a diversity to experience and cook meals from different cultures. My mother's philosophy was "Taste it before you judge it!" and I have passed that on to my children.
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy a variety of dishes and normally experiment with different herbs and spices.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Scratch Minced Meat Pie made from venison.
My cooking triumphs
The best compliment is when I am asked to "Please cook that again!" Or when known 'picky' eaters ask for seconds or thirds.
My cooking tragedies
One tme I cooked up a large pot (@ 5 gallons) of venison chilli and accidently poured in too much salt. About three times what was too much. And no matter how many potato's I added it wouldn't be absorbed..
