Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup
I followed others' suggestions and sauteed some garlic, onion, celery, and carrots before adding the broth. I didn't use quick-cooking rice, so I prepared it separately and omitted the 2 cups of water from the soup. The end result was pretty good, although next time I think I will add more garlic and just a tad less cream (or perhaps more broth). I generally love creamy recipes, but I thought this was almost too rich.
