Peppered Shrimp Alfredo

Great dish. Next time I will drain off some of the liquid from cooking the mushrooms, as it made the sauce a little thin.

Pesto Pizza

White Chili with Chicken

Although this didn't have the "wow" factor I was hoping for, it was warm and filling on a cold winter night. I think that next time I make this I will keep 1/4 c. of the chicken broth to use to dilute the cornstarch. With the very mild flavor of this recipe the water seemed to make it seem even more, well, watery. Also, I had to use more cornstarch to thicken the base then suggested. Don't be araid to add extra cumin, garlic, and some salt ifyou prefer a more flavorful meal.

Orange Honey Garlic Chicken

This recipe yielded a very mildly flavored chicken. I was hoping for something with more "bang for my buck." If I make this again, I will definitely add more garlic and something like red pepper flakes to add some flavor.

Chile Colorado

My husband's favorite dish to order at Mexican Restaurants is Chile Colorado. Now, with this recipe we can make it just like at the restaurant, but for a lot less money. We used dried California Chilies, which seemed to work very well. Great recipe! Make sure to allow time for the beef to cook and become very tender.
