All-Day Apple Butter

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2011
I made 2 bathes this weekend!! It's great and so easy, the hardest part having to peel and slice apples--not hard! :) I used fugi apples and only 3 cups of sugar, I also used apple pie spice. I cooked it for about 12 hours on low and uncovered it and cooked on high another 2-3 hours so could thicken up! It's great!!

Took this to a Halloween party! Everyone loved it, kids and adults. I put it in a little pumpkin and served it along with cinnamon graham crackers and apple slices. Great fall dip!!

Cream Puffs

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2011
OK---dont' know what I did wrong, because I have made lots of Cream Puffs using other recipes and never had a problem with the "puffing" up, well I did with these. Don't know why? Will probably go back to my usual recipe....

Kielbasa and Potato Bake

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2011
I rated this a 3 star simply because it needed alot of tweeking! But after the "tweeking" it's a 5 star recipe!! I added 1 can of cheese soup, along with 1 cup of sour cream and 1 more cup of milk. And topped with shredded cheddar cheese. I also thinly sliced my potatoes, so it cooked faster. After my additions it filled a 9x13" pan. Will make again!

Baron's Blackberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2011
Very good cobbler! I did use blackberries, raspberries and blueberry mix (since I ran out of blackberries), nice variation! Also, I added one shake of cinnamon to the batter. Otherwise--great recipe! The only complaint I got from everyone is, I forgot the vanilla ice cream!! LOL!

Cherry Almond Coffeecake

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2011
This was very easy, had everything on hand. I used blueberry pie filling and french vanilla cake mix. I will probably run a knife through the fruit and cake batter next time to better blend the tastes!

Stef's Super Cheesy Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
This was very good! The only change I would make next time, is to leave out the onions. It way over powered the cheese and garlic flavor. Will make again!

Pepperoncini Beef

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2011
This was surprisingly good! My husband was kinda worried when I was telling him about it. We tryed it yesterday and nothing was left. The juice gave the meat a hint of pepperoncini flavor (not over powering). I served this French Dip style with shredded mozzarella and AuJus. Very good!

Green Grape Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2010
I used a mixture of red and green grapes, and also diced up apples (the pre-sliced packaged ones that don't turn brown). I didn't add the brown sugar, I thought it was sweet enough without. Very good, will make again & again!

I agree with other reviewers, this should be made with hamburger patties. This makes a great, easy, quick dinner too.....!!

Cracked Sugar Cookies I

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2010
Very good! And the best part....very easy! I rolled the dough in green colored sugar (I just put sugar in a zip-lock baggy and put a few drops of green food coloring until it was the perfect green and worked it around until it was well blended) for St. Paddys' day! Looked very nice!

Lemon Lush

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2010
Great dessert! I used lemon pie filling and added chopped walnuts to the crust, along with sprinkled over the top, like others suggested. Very light and refreshing! I'm looking forward to taking it to summer potlucks and BBQs.

Fresh California Salsa

This is exactly like my recipe except I use about 6-8 tomatoes and a whole sweet onion. I put it in my cruiseart blender and it comes out perfect. Great way to use up summer garden tomatoes!!

Blackberry Cobbler II

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2008
Will make again! I just added a little Cinnamon Plus (from Pampered Chef) to the dough. And I used a mix of blackberries and marionberries, and before it finished I added a few blueberries--just to get enough. And this is the first time I have made a dessert in my cast iron, great! But you definitely have to make homemade ice cream to go on top! Thanks!
