Creamy Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
I made per the recipe except I used whole wheat pasta and added an extra layer of veggies; spinach, portabella mushrooms, onion, bell pepper. Filled up my 9x13. Everyone at work loved it.

Creamy Dill Cucumber Toasties

I made the filling for a bridal shower today. Everyone loved it! I put the filling on regular tea sandwiches for ease of transport. Delicious.

Bacon Quiche Tarts

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2007
These were wonderful. I made some exactly as the recipe was written. They turned out great, but I made the next set with another users advice. I sliced the Grand's in half. I enjoyed this crust better, just because of the calories. Both ways are wonderful!

Ultimate Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2007
This was a wonderful casserole! It was east to put together. I used fewer potatoes. Also, I used half ham and half bacon because that is what I had on hand. I think the casserole is better the next day. So next time I'll make it ahead.

Sour Cream Apple Pie I

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2007
This was a delicious change of pace from standard apple pie. The creamy texture of the sour cream is a nice contrast to the other ingredients. I did not have any trouble with the sour cream separating as mentioned in another review. I did buy name brand as another reviewer suggested. I used a frozen crust that I cooked for about half the time on the package before filling the crust.

Baked Ham

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2007
This recipes was awesome. I added some brown sugar, cloves, and dry mustard to the coke for extra flavor. It got rave reviews from everyone. By far the best ham recipe I have used. Next time I'll cook a bigger ham. More for leftovers!

Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2006
I used chicken stock instead of veggie and beefed up the amount of spices for my big bird. The turkey turned out great. I used the Rosemary Roasted Turkey recipe on this site.

Rosemary Roasted Turkey

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2006
I made this for dinner with all of our college friends and their families. The turkey was juicy and tender. The flavor was throughout the meat. Everyone thought it was great. One guest said it was the best oven roasted turkey he'd ever had. Another said he did not know you could get turkey this good without using an oven bag. I brined the turkey for 24 hrs. I don't know how much that did or did not contribute to the flavor. Whichever, the turkey was great! Definately a keeper.

Friendship Tea

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2006
I made this according to the recipe. It did not dissolve well. My husband and I do like it. Next time I'll add the red hots as others suggested.
