Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
So much better than packets and you can make as much as you want so you can use more if you want it spicier. excellent!

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2007
This turned out amazing! I also made mine ahead. The night before I mixed everything including the broth in and let it sit over night. Then in the morning i cooked it for about 5 hours. I stirred it every hour and it turned out awesome! thanks for the recipe!

Make-Ahead Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2007
i loved this recipe. you can easily add flavoring.. such as garlic or herbs to taste. this is the only make ahead mashed potato recipe that i found that didn't have sour cream and/or cream cheese in it.. which i don't care for. a huge time saver!

Asian Salmon

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2007
My boyfriend really liked this recipe. I had to do a few minor substitutions and it seemed to work out just fine. I used red wine vinegar instead of the rice wine. I used toasted sesame oil instead of just sesame and i had to use onion and garlic powder because i didn't have fresh. I would definitely make this again :) great recipe!

Baked Parmesan Perch

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2007
This recipe is so good. My boyfriend loved it. I made a few minor changes to make it a little spicier for him. I omitted the paprika and used chili powder instead. I also added a teaspoon of garlic powder and 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes. I also used italian flavored bread crumbs instead of the plain. I will definately be making this again, its so easy!

Super Al's Cocktail Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2007
I was browsing recipes for valentines day because i was going to make my boyfriend shrimp cocktail for an appetizer. I thought it would be nice to make the cocktail sauce from scratch... I was wrong. I only added one of the two tablespoons of the horseradish and it overpowered the sauce way too much. I didn't even let him try it, it went right in the garbage. This may be a good recipe for some but not for us.

Fluffy Canadian Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2006
These did turn out really fluffy but tasted too much like egg for my tastes. next time i would use maybe one less egg to see if that makes any difference.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2006
This crust always turns out perfect. I've used it for pizza, calzones, and breadsticks. I often add minced garlic and/or parsley to the dough. delicious!
