Pepperoni Bread

This recipe is WONDERFUL. The only change I make is to put pizza sauce in the roll with the other ingredients. I am constantly asked to make this -- in fact, people request it so frequently that I've had to intentionally make it less so that I don't get sick of it. It's SO good. I typically end up making two at a time when there are more than four people over. SO good

Quick and Easy Taco Dip

I thought this dip as is was a 4* recipes, but with modifications was great. I first followed the recipe precisely (although I did use low fat cream cheese) with medium salsa. After a couple hours in the fridge, the bf and I decided it was too bland, so we added another 1/3 cup of salsa, about 10 drops of green tabasco and another tsp+ of taco seasoning. We mixed in the cheese that was on top and added a little more. Then, it was flavorful and great (and very well received with tortilla chips at the party).

Vinegar Based BBQ Sauce

This recipe was fantastic! I followed the directions exactly. I made it with Sarge's EZ Pulled Pork BBQ. When the pulled pork had one hour left to cook, I drained the liquid and added this sauce and put it back on low for another hour. Now I can finally stop wishing I was makng a trip to North Carolina just for the BBQ!

Sarge's EZ Pulled Pork BBQ

This recipe was fantastic! I followed the directions exactly. When there was one hour left to cook, I drained the liquid and added the Vinegar Based BBQ Sauce (also on this site) and put it back on low for another hour. Now I can finally stop wishing I was going back to North Carolina just for the BBQ!

Cocktail Meatballs

These are SO good! I made these as an appetizer for a dinner party and the guests (boys especially!) loved them. In fact, after my boyfriend and his roommate tasted them, they went out to the store and bought another bag of frozen meatballs so I could make a second batch. Now, we're going to host a super bowl party and several people have specifically said they're only coming if I make meatballs. Thanks for the great recipe! (I followed the directions for the sauce exactly)

Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets

I made this recipe twice tonight and it was great both times. (long story) First, I marinated the salmon for about 6 hours in the mixture (no changes) and my DH grilled it. The parts that made it off the grill (he slightly overcooked it and then managed to drop half of it into the grill) had a wonderful flavor to them. Since we ended up with less than a piece of salmon between us, I ended up making another piece. This time, we followed the directions on the recipe (using the reduction as a glaze) and that came out excellent as well. We both love salmon and we liked that the flavor of the salmon still came out. Great recipe.

Simply Marinated Mushrooms

Yum! I made these last night so that I had some healthy-ish snacks in the refrigerator.... now I have to go to the grocery store and buy more mushrooms. Even my boyfriend who won't eat mushrooms tried one and said it tastes "okay." (And that's high praise for a mushroom from him)

I'm so glad I tried this recipe. I thought it sounded odd, but it was SO good. I didn't change a thing. P.S. Thanks to the reviewer who told us not to be afraid of trying it - you won me over.
