About Me
Long-timer in Human Resources, most recently owner of organic sweet cherry farm. Big time into living green/sustainably and supporting local farmers.
My favorite things to cook
Vegetarian food for my hubby - he loves anything Mexican or Italian. We also make a lot of creative salads.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Making banket at Christmas time. Grandma's baked beans or sloppy joes.
My cooking triumphs
I make a mean cheese cake. Once made dinner for 50 (hubby's boss and the whole team plus their spouses) Turned out great! Nice to have help with the dishes too. =)
My cooking tragedies
First time making mac and cheese for hubby in 1984, he will not let me forget how the cheese turned out clumpy.
