First attempt at fettucini was absolutely terrible. Sauce came out clumped up into what looked like rotten cheese, but my grandparents smiled and ate it and said "it's good!" like all good grandparents would. <3

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints
Absolutely delicious cookies - the jam on top makes it out of this world! My jam turned a bit sticky on the top after being baked but that's what made it so delicious. I opted out of the icing drizzle just because I thought it would be sweet enough and glad I chose to. Great cookies - they are always a hit!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie
This is my GO TO recipe for chocolate chip cookies. I've made these probably 25 times and it always comes out delicious. I used to cut the butter (trying to be health conscious!) but seriously, if you want a treat and if you want it to be perfect, just use ALL the recommended amount and it comes out like heaven! The great thing is this is a fantastic base for a cookie so you can add in nuts, white chocolate chips, etc. to it too!

Beer Butt Chicken
A very interesting take on making chicken! I love the idea and love using beer in cooking. Standing the chicken, pulling out the can (butter the can!) was all easier than I thought. The chicken came out very tender but it was too bland for my tastes. I would say definitely make some adjustments to the spice blend and put some outside and inside - don't rely on the can to make the chicken tasty/salty.
