Clam Chowder

Instead of cream of mushroom, I substitute one can cream of potato, one can cream of chicken. I have made this both on the stove top and in the crockpot - tastes great both ways.

Hot Ham and Swiss Dip

Cherry Pork Chops

I substituted apple pie filling instead of cherry. I also used 2 cans, layering pie filling, pork chops, pie filling. The chops were probably the tenderest I ever made.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

One of my daughters and myself thought it to be too sweet, my husband and other daughter thought it was good. Other than the sweetness, I didn't find it to be too different than my standard meatloaf recipe.

Slow Cooker Maple Country Style Ribs

This was delicious! However, I did make a few changes. I doubled the sauce, adding one extra tablespoon of maple syrup (since I didn't have real maple syrup as other posters suggested) - and I made the sauce the night before and refrigerated until ready to use the next morning. I used boneless pork ribs, and marinated 2 hours in before turning my crock pot on. The family loved - every bit was gone. I did heat up some Montgomery Inn barbecue sauce for dipping. Scrumptous!

Beef and Noodle Bake

I added onion powder to the meat while browning, used velveeta on the first layer and shredded cheese on the top layer. In additional, I substituted rotini for the macoroni. Covered for the first 20 minutes while baking. My husband said "I don't know how you made this, but definitely make it again." We both enjoyed.

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

I made the biscuits with milk instead of water, added a dash of garlic to the dough mixture. The topping is fantastic. My husband really loves these biscuits.
