About this Cook
I am a School Bus Driver, Married, I have one adult child, who loves my cooking. I love trying new recipes and cooking old favorites. My husband enjoys my cooking to much. The doctor put him on a diet. So I am searching for low calorie good tasting dishes to cook.
My favorite things to cook
Sour cream potatoe soup. We call it egg soup. We grew up on this dish as a meatless meal that we all loved. Cabbage cooked any way.
My favorite family cooking traditions
pork roast and stuffed cabbage every New Years.

Venison Stew I
For people who don't hunt. Would not know that you must soak your venison in cold water to get the blood out of the meat. That is what causes the gamey taste. We process our own deers and the quarters are soaking while I am processing other parts of the meat. Try it sometime, you will never know it was venison.

Chicken Pot Pie IV
Great recipe! I used mixed vegatables, broccoli, fresh mushrooms, french fried onion rings crushed, and reduced fat provolone cheese. I did not add any salt as the soup and cheese has enough for my family.

Campbell's(R) Tuna Noodle Casserole
i love this meal. But I did make changes. I used french fried onion rings broken up into small pieces. I mixed this with the noodles, milk. Peas and tuna. At the end I added cheese and more french fried onion rings. Quick and easy for a comfort meal on a cold day in Ohio.
