Baked Slow Cooker Chicken
This is a great way for a busy person to have a delicious dinner ready when they get home.
My only concern was using the aluminum foil at the bottom of slow cooker so I gave it 4 stars. I am sure it would leach out aluminum into the meal and that is very dangerous for your body. I only use stainless steel or ceramic in my cookware for this reason. A good idea would be to put all the veggies on the bottom or even use a SS rack to fit under the chicken to keep it from sticking or burning. This chicken dinner was delicious. I added carrots, onions, celery and rutabaga ( it's like a turnip that my mom always added to some chicken dishes) and spiced it up a bit with garlic, poultry seasoning, and S&P. My family loves this. I put it all in a bowl in fridge in the evening and just pop it in the slow cooker in the am and we are good to go! My neighbors can actually smell the flavorful aromas coming from my house before we even arrive home!
