I made this just as written and I wish I would have read the reviews first. Way too much butter. I realized the crackers were going to be soggy so I kept them in the oven longer. It helped and they tasted pretty good but the moral here is...read the reviews.

Chicken and Pea Casserole

The parm cheese on the top became very hard. It would have been better with out it. I would not make this again.

Applesauce Salad

Could not be any easier. It was a huge hit. It is not, however, the most spectacular looking thing you could bring to an event. Just looks like a bowl of red jello.

Taco Dip

Huge hit. I chilled the beans, sour cream and salsa before topping with lettuce. I thought that worked well. I had actually never seen my teenage nieces eat ANYTHING before so I was pretty pleased.

Uncle Bill's Chicken Strips

I didn't think these were worth the work. They weren't even that time consuming-I just felt these weren't much better than breaking open a box of Tyson or Banquet chicken strips.

Slow Cooker Tender and Yummy Round Steak

I have made this several times often altering the portions sizes. I adapts well when cut in half or even doubled. I was even confident enough to make it for my hyper critical mother-she liked it.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

This did not set up for me at all. It was raw and "loose" after nearly twice the cooking time. The other reviews are so great I don't know what happened. The only thing I can think is I did make it in advance and so it went from several hours in the fridge to the oven. Could that be it?

Baked Corn I

While this was very popular at Thanksgiving this year, I was disappointed. It came out like corn bread. With so many "wet" ingredients I expected more of a casserole rather than a bread. No complaints from my guests...some actually asked to take the leftovers home.

This turned out great but I found the biscuits took quite a bit of manipulation to get them to stay at the top of the pan. For me, they just kept sliding down over and over and over...

Creamy Cordon Bleu Bake

While this is very good (and easy), it makes a tremendous amount of sauce. I made pasta to put under the chicken. I think rice might be good as well.

Turkey 'n Stuffing Bake

This had to cook twice as long as the estimate and it still was tremendously soupy. While it tasted good, I think there is something "off" in the recipe.
