Janet's Rich Banana Bread

OMG!! this is the best banana bread i've ever made. super moist and not real heavy like some can be. i did add some cinnomen and vanilla. i'm not sure if it's going to make it in the mail tomorrow to my son who's working in juneau! thanks janet!!!

Chili Verde Stew

after i browned the pork i put everything in my slow cooker and cooked it for 6hrs. i then took out the pork(falling apart!) and shredded it on a cookie sheet and put it in the oven to crisp up the meat. heated up corn tortillas on my gas burner then i assembled as following...tortilla put alittle white rice,some of the liquid that was in the slow cooker,add the veggies from the cooker,then pork,salsa,cheese and a dab of sour cream. my family couldn't get enough! it was very spicy but delish!! with the leftover rice,veggies and pork i'm making chile rellenos. will be making this alot!! i liked it better on the tortilla then as a stew. thanks for a great recipe!!

Curried Chicken Tea Sandwiches

YUMMY!! i love this recipe. i omitted the cranberries and pecans because i didn't have any on hand. used a green apple because it's what i had. i love curry so...just ate some and i can't wait to eat it later! i know my family will love this!

Feta Chicken Salad

thought i had everything but used up my red pepper and red onion so i used yellow onion. we really liked this. can't wait to make it exactly. i used feta with cranberries in it(who knew they made that) and it went very well. will make again!!

Chipotle Chicken

i made this thursday night for dinner and the family LOVED it!!! i marinaded the chicken with the sour cream,chipotle then pan fried just the bottom until brown then popped into the oven with foil for 20 min. then took foil off and finished with melting cheese on top!! YUMMY!! deglazed the pan with the chicken broth and added more sour cream and spinach...really good. will make this ALOT!!! we loved it! thanks!!!

Always A Winner Grilled Chicken

really loved this marinade! i basted the chicken every half hour then towards the end every 15min. after the chicken was done i boiled the marinade let it cool and added it to some ranch dressing to dip the chicken in and it was fantastic!!!! we really loved this and i will make this again!

Zucchini Parmigiana

we just got done scarfing this down and we all LOVED this recipe. i ended up not having enough bread crumbs so i used the rest of my crutons, that i just crushed in the bag. i also used herb de province instead of the parsley and basil. it turned out just so good. will be making this again...soon! ;) thanks for sharing!!!

Scott Ure's Clams And Garlic

made this lastnight and OMG it was awesome!! all i did different was i used fresh lemon thyme from my herb garden and added red pepper flakes! our clams were super fresh(dug that day!) super easy and some of the best steamers we've had!!! i think better then any resturants!!

Spinach Salad II

we loved this! after reading other reviews i added red win vinegar,evoo instead of vegetable oil and some dijon mustard. also added red onion,mushrooms and tomato. it was so good we had it again the next day!! will make this at least once a week!! thanks for sharing!

Red Potato Salad

made this lastnight to go with our bbq steaks and it was really good. i didn't have celery on hand so i used celery salt. i also used a really good relish instead of the pickle and added bacon. we really enjoyed it. can't wait to try it today!!

Mom's Cucumber Salad

made this lastnight and it was a total hit! after reading other reviews i first sweated the cucumbers for about 45min. then i used cider vinegar,red onion and i used half sour cream and half mayo. a great refreshing side dish that went well with our bbq steaks! will make all summer long!!

i make the same thing only i add one envlope of lipton onion soup and also one envlope of peppercorn gravy mix and if i can't find that then an envlope of brown gravy mix and it turns out fantastic everytime!!!!

Angel Hair Pasta Chicken

i made this lastnight and we loved it. i did add a few things.while cooking the chicken i added some wine and italian seasoning.i sauted up some onions and garlic and added some wine to that! i omited the carrots not a big fan but added green and red peppers to onion mixture. i also used chicked stock instead of broth. it came out very tasty. will make again!!

Chicken Alfredo Pizza

This was sooo good! i only made the alfredo sauce and i did change it alittle. first i added 3 cloves of garlic to the butter. i also used white pepper and added a good pinch of herbs de provence. i think next time i'll add alittle more flour to thicken the sauce alittle more. i then added chicken,artichoke hearts,green olives and feta cheese! i cheated and used a box pizza dough mix. it turned out AWESOME!!! even my 11yr.old loved it!i told all my friends. will make this over and over again. thanks for a delicious sauce!!!

Newport Clam Chowder

EVERYONE loved this!! i did add a few things. i cooked a lb. of peppered bacon and added carrots,celery and corn at the end. couldn't get fresh clams so i used 6 cans of snow brand clams with juice. i used a mixture of whole,chopped and minced. can't wait to try this with fresh clams!! i also used fat free half and half. will make this a lot this winter!

Spicy Spaghetti Squash

made this lastnight for myself and my 2 children. we've never had spaghetti squash before and this was DELISH!! we loved it!! i used turkey italian sauage and it was great. next time i'll cut bach on the red pepper flakes, it was alittle to spicy for the kids but other then that i'll make this again!
