This did not look appetizing but the flavor is awesome and everyone loved it. Instead of ranch I added 1 cup heavy cream and 3 tablespoons ranch powder because my husband does not like mayo. I do think next time I will only add 1 pkg cream cheese

Slider-Style Mini Burgers

Grill Master Chicken Wings

I followed the first part of the recipe adding the juice of one lime. I made boneless wings and baked for 20 minutes. After baking I tossed them in 1/4 cup chipolte Tabasco 1/8 cup lime and 1 tsp honey. They were a HUGE hit. Will definitely be making these again!

Great concept and good base recipe. Definitely do NOT overcook. Next time I will try my chocolate pudding cookie recipe and add the Thin mints. These were not soft as I would like

Day-After-Thanksgiving Turkey Carcass Soup

Made this today with Thanksgiving leftovers. The whole family LOVED it! Reminds me of soup my grandma used to make. One bit of advice; this would probably be good with a stuffing like stove top, but if you make your own stuffing, the larger chunks of bread turn to a gloppy mess. I ended up fishing out as much of it as possible. The little bits that were in there were tasty though. I only added a few shakes of poultry seasoning and about a cup of left over gravy. Delicious!

Turkey Cranwich

Cranberry Sauce I

Any recipe that can get me to eat something I previously despised deserves 10 stars! I followed the suggestions to use 1/2 brown and 1/2 white sugar. Also 1/2 orange juice and 1/2 water. And I added a touch of cinnamon. Fabulous!

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

These were FABULOUS! And I LOVE that they were made ahead of time and out of the way for the rest of the Thanksgiving day preparation. They are warm and ready to go when you are. Instead of fighting to keep them warm while making the gravy and rushing to get it all on the table at the last minute. Oh, and did I mention the flavor is FABULOUS?!? Thanks BWAYE for sharing! Edit/Update: Made these for Thanksgiving and they went over great! One person who despises gravy, sour cream and cream cheese asked over and over how I made them. I finally told him and he was very surprised! He said he loved them.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

I absolutely love the idea of having the stuffing made ahead of time and out of the way of the rest of the cooking. I also despise stuffing the actual bird! So this option sounded like a great one to me. Luckily I tried it out ahead of time. The color of the stuffing was off (dark). I think this was due to me stirring it frequently to keep it from burning. The flavor was okay, not fabulous however. I used seasoned bread cubes since that is all that they had at the store I went to. I think this would be much better with plain bread cubes. And I will cut way down on the cooking time in the future (like 2-3 hours max). And, like others, I used less than half of the broth. Overall good recipe, just need to adjust it to my preferences. Edit: Made this again for Thanksgiving. This time I stirred it very little. I only cooked it about 3 hours and it was perfect. I added turkey drippings to it right before serving. Yum!

Paul's Pumpkin Bars

I also went with all the reviews and added the extra pumpkin as CIRCEKITTY suggested, as I like a more dense bar. I also doubled the frosting recipe and frosted the bars rather than a dollop. It was a little too much frosting, and tasted strongly of butter. I will look for a different recipe for the frosting next time, or just half the butter. Thanks for the recipe and suggestions. Edit/Update Finally found a frosting recipe that I LOVE: 3 ounces cream cheese - soften 3/4 stick of butter soften 1 3/4 cup powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring 1 TBLS. milk I usually double it since I love frosting :)

Scrumptious Salisbury Steak in Mushroom Gravy

My family absolutely loved this recipe. My 8 year old daughter whom is extremely picky had seconds! I did take the advice to decrease the milk and add a can of cream of mushroom soup. It ended up tasting way too much like cream of mushroom so I will stick to the recipe as written next time!

Teri's Dinner in a Pumpkin

I was skeptical at first, especially with adding the pumpkin pie spice and brown sugar. I went for it and am glad I did! The flavor is awesome! Do NOT omit these ingredients. I followed the advice and rubbed the inside of the pumpkin with these seasonings. It was so good, I wish I added more. My children and husband were skeptical also and turning their noses up until they tasted it. They each had seconds and licked their plates clean, literally! I scraped the orange skin off to make eyes, nose and mouth to look like a jack-o-lantern. So cute, thanks Teri!

Savory Chicken Sandwiches

These were fabulous! I was a little wary tasting it right out of the crock pot. But I toasted some caibatta buns and melted provolone cheese and these were amazing! The juice soaked the bun and reminded me of French dips. These are great and will be making many more times.

Bacon-Balsamic Deviled Eggs

To cut down on time I put all the ingredients into a food processor. These were not creamy like we are used to, and the family did not care for them. I thought the flavor was good, but definitely needed more mayo and or some mustard
