Slow Cooker Adobo Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2008
the first few bites were great, but it is SO salty that my husband and i couldn't even finish it! (which never happens). the chicken was nice and tender, but WAY too salty. maybe cut down on the soy sauce.

Teary-Eyed Fried Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2007
I fixed this tonight. My husband wanted some sort of spicy pork chops. I found this and thought I'd give it a try. He LOVED it! We both love spicy and this was perfect. We didn't drench the whole pork chop with sauce. We just spread a little on each side. Frank's RedHot is our favorite hot sauce anyway, and it worked great with the pork chops.

Stuffed Shells I

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2007
I really liked this. I used ricotta cheese instead of cottage cheese and it was a little dry. Next time I'll add more sauce. Very easy to make...I did the whole thing while I was on the phone!

Mexican Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2007
This is a really easy, great-tasting, all-in-one meal. I added a can of chiles to the cornbread, mixed frozen corn in with the meat mixture, added some hot sauce, and added a thin layer of cheese before the last 5 minutes of cooking. Very tasty!

Chicken Tequila Fettuccini

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2007
This is an AMAZING dish! I was a little concerned that it would be heavy, but it wasn't at all. It tastes just like something you would get at a nice restaurant. I substituted canned jalapenos, only used green peppers, and added a little extra cilantro. Definitely a keeper!

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2006
These are great brownies! Nice and chewy! I skipped the topping and I think they taste just fine without it. Might try it next time, but they definitely don't need it. They taste a lot like my mom's fudge pie which is one of my favorites!

Salmon Fillets with Creamy Dill

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2006
I really liked this recipe, but my husband did not. And he eats practically anything. I think it just had a little too much dill. And it made entirely too much sauce. I will try it again with less dill and sauce.

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2006
This is one of my favorite dishes to make. It is a hit every time. Last time I made it I was out of bread crumbs so I toasted some bread and crumbled it up instead. It worked great! And it's really good with whatever cheese you have on hand. Great recipe...thanks!
