I thought this was delicious! Definitely will continue to bake the crust first and will add more mushrooms. The spices were perfect.

Grilled Vidalia Onion Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2007
I tried this tonight and it was delicious. The flavor of the broth was exceptional and the onions were so tender and sweet. I didn't have sherry, so I used a splash of white cooking wine. I baked it in the oven since it's raining out, and it did take longer than one hour. In fact it took almost 2. I added several more ice cubes, since several said there was not quite enough broth. Other than that, the recipe was not altered. The provolone was very tasty, but what a mess. It stuck to the bowl, the knife and fork when I cut up the onion in my bowl, and then the spoon. I just had a nice hearty slice of toasted nine grain bread from the bakery and all in all it was a great and satifying meal. My husband will be home late, and when he does, he'll get a bowl and maybe I'll return and write his review. Thanks for the recipe! I'll definitely make this one again.

Kielbasa with Honey Mustard

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2007
We tried this a few nights ago and husband and I loved it. Very flavorful. We were making a meal of it, so I simmered onions, red bell peppers, and some asparagus in the gingerale after taking out the sausage. I cooked onions first, until the liquid was cooked waaay down, as we like our veggies kind of crispy. Just cooked to a nice thick sauce. The veggies were delicious and the sausage was very tasty As the recipe submitter said, it was a great combination of sweet and salty. My favorite way to have sausage. (I used the light Turkey Polish Sausage) Will do again often, as it was so fast and easy. THANKS FOR THIS ONE!

Aunt Carol's Spinach and Fish Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2007
This recipe came is awesome. I made this for our family and even my little grandson just gobbled it up. I used the Costco tilapia filets from frozen section and thawed before cooking. SInce I doubled the recipe, it took a bit longer to cook, but I watched it carefully, not wanting to overcook and get dry fish. The fish was delectable. I'm trying to think of some way to lighten this recipe so I can add it to my low fat regimen, without ruining it!! Way delicious! Thanks, Aunt Carol.
