Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2006
I made this last weekend for company and it was a huge hit!! Well worth the indulgence for my otherwise calorie conscious family. Absolutely wonderful!

Lobster Newburg

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2012
This was so easy to make and so delicious! I served it over rice and with fresh bread on the side (because that is how I remember my mother serving Newburg when I was a kid) and even my 3 1/2 year old daughter cleaned her plate! If not for the fat content I would make this weekly!!

Grilled Hanger Steak with a Roasted Shallot Port Demi Sauce and Grilled Garlic Green Beans

Reviewed: May 16, 2011
Made this for company last night. Was able to find demi glace and hanger steak at local butcher shops. Everyone raved! The sauce was out of this world, definately felt like I was eating out at a great restaurant instead of in my own dining room.

Absolutely fantastic!!! Served these as a side dish for a glazed pork roast and they were the perfect compliment. Will definately stash this recipe in my box for future use!

Slow-Cooker Barbecue Ribs

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
Made these for a Superbowl Party yesterday, was my first time ever making ribs. Took some advice from previous reviews and used half the amount of ketchup and substituted bottled bbq sauce for the rest. Cooked them the full 8 hours and they were falling off the bone delicious! Everyone loved them and they were super easy!

Elegant Turkey Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
This stuffing is AMAZING! Cooked my first Thanksgiving dinner and picked this recipe because of the great reviews. I changed a couple things solely based on preference, leeks instead of celery and dried cranberries instead of raisins but otherwise followed exactly. Best stuffing I have ever had... the whole family loved it and this will now be the only stuffing I make!

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2011
Quadrupled the recipe to make two large trays of this for a party last weekend.... it was the first dish to go and the most talked about! Several people asked for the recipe. The only thing I did differently (and did this only because I was making such a large quantity) was that I browned the sausage in the oven on baking sheets instead of in a pan. Added a little oil at the end to make up for the lack of grease I would have gotten from browning in the pan. Fantastic... don't think I'll ever use another recipe!

'I Hate Cucumbers!' Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2008
I ended up halving the vinegar (because I didn't have enough) and pretty much doubling the mayo (to make it creamier)and used celery seed instead of celery. Came out really good! Never would have thougt that one up on my own. Even my picky husband liked it. Put it right into my recipe book!

Mushroom Stuffed Beef Rouladen

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2006
Maybe it is something I did wrong but I found this to be a little bland. It was a lot of work for a so-so dinner.
