Pickled Beets

I made these beets scaling down the recipe. Put them in the fridge and they didn't last a day. Great recipe

Roasted Garlic Cauliflower

Delicious! 450 was just too high a temp, garlic started to burn. I lowered the oven to 350 and cooked it for 40 minutes. Would have given it 5 stars if the temp worked.

Moo Shu Pork

Very good recipe, quick easy for substitutions. I subsituted white wine for water. I used half the hoisin in in the recipe and the other half on the tortillas for more deep hoisin flavor. I added a tsp of gravy master for the brown color I like. I used frozen chicken breasts defrosted in the wave. I sliced them in matchstick size pieces. I would have used wood ears if I had them. I used dried shitake musrooms instead. I also added bell pepper sliced real thin , and scallions with the cabbage I sliced myself. Oh yeah and a splash of fish sauce to the sauce mixture.

Wild Mushroom Sauce

What a wonderful complex mushroom sauce. The combination of mushrooms makes me smile. To all you people who rate a recipe but don't follow it exactly or very close to the origional recipe, PHOOEY ON YOU, especially if you give it less than 5 stars.

Grilled Salmon Steaks with Savory Blueberry Sauce

This was horrible and I followed it to the letter. I said ok, lets try something new because we are adventureous eaters. The balsamic vinegar overpowered the blueberries which I could not taste. I used good aged expensive balsamic vinegar too. This was tasteless otherwise. Save your money.
