Pork Chops a la Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2009
great recipe - I used a can of cream of celery soup (didn't have the chicken/rice) and also added some garlic powder and 1 tbsp. dijon mustard to the soup in slow cooker after browning. Best pork chops ever - SOOO tender!

Deviled Eggs I

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2009
This is a recipe I have used for years with the addition of a splash of cider vinegar, S&P and the dry mustard. Everyone always seems to like the "bite"

Gazpacho IV

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2009
Changed vinegar to red wine vinegar and increased to 1/4 cup. Also increased the olive oil to about 1/2 cup. The addition of the beef broth makes this so good. I also put about 1/2 of mixture through the food processor - nice texture and good flavor.

REALLY GOOD stuff. I made the recipe exactly as stated and it is truly a winner. Husband and everyone I serve this to raves - the beer makes a huge difference!

Asparagus Mushroom Bacon Crustless Quiche

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2014
I HAVE MADE THIS RECIPE FOR YEARS BUT ALWAYS JUST USED 1 C WHOLE MILK AND ADDED 1-1/2 TSP OF BOUQUET GARNI SPICE. I SOMETIMES OMIT THE MUSHROOMS AND ADD 3 CHOPPED GREEN ONIONS IF FEEDING KIDDIES. THE BOUQUET GARNI SPICE (BY SPICE ISLANDS) MAKES THIS DISH. I BAKE @ 375 FOR ABOUT 45 MIN. UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN ON TOP.
