Peanut Butter Fudge II

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2012
I made this fudge following the recipe exactly. It was not only easy but delicious. What I dont quite understand is that people rate a recipe after either not following directions or changing it up. Where in the recipe does it say Peanut butter?? It says PB chips. And then you say it doesnt set? If your not gonna follow the recipe exactly then dont rate it. This was easy and very good.

Dawn's Candied Walnuts

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2011
These are delicious. The second time I made them I put all the ingredients in a sauce pan and brought it to boiling stirring frequently. Then I added the nuts and continued boiling til all liquid was evaporated and nuts are all coated. Pour them on to parchment paper and let them cool for 15 mins. Be patient and dont remove from stove until all liquid is gone, much easier and much faster and just as delicious.

Candied Almonds

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2011
I have been looking for a recipe similar to the candied nuts you can buy from a street vendor in New York city. This is it!! They are absloutely fabulous and simple. My fmily is not crazy about cinnamon so I only used a sprinkle. I was worried since I took out most of the cinnamon I put in a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Be patient and let all of the liquid evaporate. You will know when that is. Do not try and rush it. There was some sugar coating left so I think I will try and add at least another 1/2 cup of nuts to the ingredients.I also added cashews and walnuts. All were good. You wont be sorry these are delish!

Rich and Simple French Onion Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2009
This was so good. It is very close to restaurant style soup. I followed exactly and wouldn't change a thing. The family loved it! I still cant figure out why people make a recipe for the first time and change everything about the recipe then rate it!! Makes no sense. Great recipe Thanks!

Caramel KELLOGG'S® RICE KRISPIES TREATS®

Nice change from the regular treats! Make sure you don't use the caramel sundae syrup. Use the thicker caramel ice cream topping in the jar.

Chicken Pot Pie VI

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2007
I made this tonite for dinner and it was fabulous. I was in a hurry so I used a Rotissere chicken. I also used frozen mixed veggies, peas, carrots and string beans that I had in the freezer. I cubed a potato and boiled it for a few minutes and threw that in to. I used 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and also one cup of mixed shreeded cheese I already had in the frig. (Cheddar and Colby Jack). I only changed a few things because it was what I had on hand. It was so good. I have tried a few pot pie recipes and this one was by far the best, easist, and quickest. I think the cheese just makes it just right. I cant wait to make it with leftover Thanksgiving turkey. Thanks for an awesome recipe.

Baked Stuffed Zucchini

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2007
This were pretty good. The only thing i did different was I didnt boil the zucchini shells. I just stuffed them and baked them until they were done. It saves time and an extra step. I also added some breadcrumbs before stuffing them. My family really liked them, Can make them as a main dish also, just brown some sausage with the other ingredients. This also works great.

Mom's Big Burgers

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2007
This recipe is delish as is. They are the best homemade burgers. My kids had friends over the night we made them and they said they tasted like a burger from a restaurant. When youre making the patties big, after you formed them make a indentation in the center of the burger with all your fingers (kind of like a birds nest) this way when you cook them on the grill they wont shrink. They will stay the same size and they wont dry out. You wont be disappointed.

These were so awesome!! We made them for Easter and everyone loved them, we even made some with the milk chocolate coating. They were easy and really quick and looked just as good as the Russell Stover version, only alot less expensive! Thanks for a great recipe.

Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2007
I liked this alot. It was easy and tasted good. The only thing was I think it was too little fruit. The second time I made this I added two cans of diced peaches with the same 1/4 cup of liquid and it was better. The sliced peaches were too big I think and I also think canned peaches are like fake fruit. The third time I used a can of blueberry pie filling and it was awesome. It was much more like cobbler. This is an easy and tasty recipe. I will definetly make it again with the blueberries.

I made this for dinner tonite and it was delicious! I will say I was aliitle nervous when it started to cook because it didn't smell very good, but it did not mean a thing!! The only thing I did different was followed anothers advice about using 1 cup of wine and 1 cup of beef broth. It was really good. Thanks for a great recipe.

This was absolutely fabulous!!!!! My whole family loved it. I cut the breasts down the middle to make them thinner, more like cutlets, and doubled the sauce ingredients to make it saucier. I also used petite diced tomatoes because thats all I had.I cant tell you enough how delicious this is. Thank you Nancy for an awesome recipe!!

Creamy Cinnamon Rice Pudding

This was by far the BEST rice pudding recipe yet! I have tried a few and this is it. I followed the recipe exactly and it was great. For those who said it didnt thicken maybe you didnt use whole milk? Dont use low fat or skim. This is great, Thanks Tinychef!!!
