Sugar Snap Peas

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2011
This is like the definition of quick, delicious and easy! Eat it with rice for a simple yet healthy and delicious meal that's cheap too :)) I used onions and dried thyme instead of shallots and fresh thyme, but it was still yummy! I would suggest a good couple shakes of salt.

Seafood Fettuccine

Great recipe!! My family loved it! I left out the scallops and used a 1/2 lb of sausage instead, only used a half cup of green onions, put a bit more parmesan in the sauce, and included the corn starch. It was delicious, but I felt like something was missing; I think I will experiment with other cheeses in the future.

Cobb Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2011
Awesome recipe for a classic salad! I followed the recipe exactly, except for the green onions - I dislike them and I've never seen them used in a cobb salad. I also sauteed the cubed chicken in the leftover grease from the bacon just for kicks, but it tasted good! After the chicken was cooked, I drained it and tossed with a dash each of black pepper, poultry seasoning, and salt. My family loved it! Also, I probably should have paid more attention to serving size, but I made it in the original size (6 servings), which turned out to be 3 large salads for three adults. Enough to be a meal on its own, really! If serving as a side dish, one serving per person is perfect.

These cookies turned out pretty yummy! In my first batch, i think i made the cookies too big, so there was too much cookie and not enough jam. But i made the cookies a bit smaller and they turned out great. i used a floured 1/2 tsp spoon to make the indents and filled them with raspberry jam. good cookies, and real easy to make!

Julie's Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2009
Mm, this was yummy! My whole family liked it - there were no leftovers. However, I did alter the recipe a bit, as suggested by others. About 1/2 to 2/3 cup of mayo was perfect, and I left out the raisins, walnuts, and celery because we didn't have any on hand. It still tasted great with just apples and grapes though! All in all, this was a great recipe to throw together for a quick but yummy meal. Also tastes great mixed with egg yolks for an interesting twist on deviled eggs. :)

Sukhothai Pad Thai

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2007
This recipe was great! It tasted wonderful. I cut the amount in half and substituted 1/2 a chicken breast, cubed, and ketchup instead of the tamarind pulp. I also omitted the paprika and the radish, but that's only because I dislike spicy foods. My mistake was that I didn't leave the noodles to soak long enough - I will Definitely fix that next time!
