Iowa Pork Steak

I threw this in the crock pot before leaving for church. The steak was very tender and tasty. I might add a little more spice next time. Easy to get together though.

Waikiki Cornbread

Just because you put cornmeal in the batter does not make it cornbread. More like a sweet cake or breakfast cake.

I thought everyone was nuts making syrup with buttermilk. I followed the recipe and it turned out great. My family and friends are asking for more. My coworkers still don't believe I made this with buttermilk!

Bavarian Brownies

Easy to fix and tasty. I took the advice of another reviewer and used oil instead of butter. The brownies were moist and great with Blue Bell ice cream!!

Peach Cobbler Dump Cake II

Strawberry Angel Food Dessert

Great recipe, especially for the summer. My family loves strawberries. I did not use as much glaze as it calls for the 2nd time I made it. Seemed to like it better that way. Still Yummy! I made in a trifle bowl....very pretty too.

Chili I

My husband makes this Chili often in the winter. Our kids love it! We have also toned down the spices as needed for some friends who do not like spicy. Great recipe that we have made and served to many friends and family!
