About this Cook
I am a military wife and Mother of two wonderful children. Ages 8 & 3! I have a very busy schedule everyday and am always looking for fast, easy, and delicious meals to cook my family! The two things I enjoy most in life are spending time with my family and riding my motorcycle!!
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking everything but my favorite is Italian for sure!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Sunday is spaghetti Suday in our house! I start my sauce from scratch on Saturday afternoon. I also love making and baking Christmas cookies with my daughter!
My cooking triumphs
Getting my spaghetti sauce to taste somewhat close to my husband's grandmother's sauce. (I still have a very long way to go!!!) LOL Also learning to make "homemades" with my father-in-law!
My cooking tragedies
I tried to make homemade bread dough once for dinner rolls. The dough never rose and I ended up throwing it all away. I am horrible with yeast breads, but have been trying to get it right! My husband is much better at it than I am. He makes a delicious "Johnny Bread"! It's to die for!!!

Quinoa with Chickpeas and Tomatoes
AWESOME!!!! Try sprinkling some crumbled feta in. Gives it a nice flavor! This one went right in my recipe box!!!! Yummy!!!

Pumpkin Wheat Honey Muffins
These muffins are awesome! My kids really love them and they are super healthy! The only change I made to the recipe was using 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce and 1/4 cup oil. They are very moist and great to make for the fall time or really anytime of the year! I give them six stars!!!!!!!!!

Slow-Cooked Habanero Chili
This was the best tasting slow-cooked chili I have ever had. I made it for my husband's chili cook off at work and won first place!!!
