Spinach Brownies
After multiple frustrating incidents today (not having enough cheese, not being able to find the right dish, etc), I was wondering if these would be worth the trouble. I made a half recipe following the instructions exactly, and they turned out great. Light and creamy, with a nice golden brown crust around the edges. They have a great salty taste, and the spinach isn't overpowering. Yummy recipe, and worth the trouble!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf
Delicious every time. I spread the glaze on top of the meatloaf as suggested by other reviewers - it just makes more sense. Definitely tastes better with fresh ginger, but dried will do in a pinch. I made a meat cake using this recipe for my boyfriend's birthday, and he loved it! I doubled the meat recipe and spread between 3 foil pie pans (easier clean-up), and spread the glaze on two of the layers. When they were done I stacked them up, trimmed the sides, and covered in instant mashed potatoes (they're creamier and easier to spread than homemade). He didn't even realize it wasn't a dessert cake at first, then when he cut into it, he was even more excited that it was meatloaf! Thanks for this great, great recipe!

Blackberry Cobbler
I've made this dish several times, and use any kind of berries that are fresh and on sale. You can easily make a vegan version using margarine and soy milk (I use original) - tastes just as great and you don't feel like you're missing anything. Great basic recipe!
