Banana Split Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2009
We had the younger kids in our scouting group make this and it was a HUGE hit. We've made it at home several times since.

Cocktail Wieners I

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2003
I'm sorry, but this was nasty (atleast to my family and the 2 other families at the party.) I had seen that everyone put them on their plates but noticed that noone was eating them. I tried one myself and I didn't even get it down before I spit it back out. I had to bring them all back home and in the trash they went. Normally, we all like these lil' weinies...but I think it might have been the chili sauce. Yuk!

Best Ever Popcorn Balls

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2003
Sweet and chewy. I liked these very much. They didn't get hard like most of the others do. I used microwave buttered popcorn. I used almost 6 bags. Buttery sweetness..mmmmm! My kids LOVED them. I'm gonna make them for our church bake sale and for my son's school party's. What kid doesn't like to get popcorn balls? Once again....mmmmmm!

Easy Peanut Blossoms

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2003
Very yummy and tender. They were so easy to just 'whip up'. Everyone loved them. My 4 year old requested them for their preschool party, and the teacher said they were the first cookies to go. From now on, these are my pick for Peanut Butter Blossoms. Do yourself a favor and try these!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2002
These ARE the best! I didn't change the recipe at all, and I don't see the need to. I didn't have any problems at all with the dough being sticky. Matter of fact, I used only very little flour to roll them out. It was the smoothest, most cooperative cookie dough I've ever worked with. I only chilled mine for 1 hour and worked with a quarter of the dough at a time. I keep the remaining dough in the refrigerator until I was ready to use it. The cookies turned out soft and moist...WONDERFUL!!!!

Strawberry Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2002
Very good flavor...SWEET, but good. I wouldn't call it fudge though. More like taffy. I've been making fudge and candy for years. I used a candy thermometer and backed it up by using the 'water' test. Still, it came out bad. Did not set up after 2 hours in the refrigerator so I put it in the freezer for 2 hours...Still didn't set up. I would have given this more stars had it actually been fudge.

Pumpkin Fudge

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2002
Everyone who has ever tried this thinks it's just wonderful. It does take some time, but it's not 'working' time, it's 'waiting' time. You could go watch TV while it's cooking and then while it's cooling down. I've already made 3 batches. Make sure you cut the fudge in small chunks, it's sinfully rich.

Butterscotch Gingerbread Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2002
OH MY!!!!! These are Wonderful! My husband, who is not a butterscotch fan, ate almost the entire first batch. I only had about 2/3 bag of butterscotch chips. I wish I had a whole bag to use. I also only had the dark molasses. Turned out sinful though.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2001
These cookies were ok. I was expecting THE best chocolate chip cookies ever. I was kind of disappointed. They did turn out soft and the flavor was good. I don't think I'll make these again though.

Arny Cookies

These are better than any sugar cookie I've ever tasted. I've thrown out my old recipe and replaced it with this one. I baked a batch of these for our kids church and they ate them up quickly.
