Mom's Zucchini Bread

everyone enjoyed it. i added crumb topping as other has suggested it.i also added more zucchini- it needed to be used. about half required cinnamon and dash of nutmeg.

Garlic Shrimp Scampi

I loved it but the kids didnt so much. I addd 1/4 c of breadcrumbs instead. I added a dash of lemon pepper. I added minced garlic annd left it in the sauce. i used whole wheat sphagetti not angel hair. a tsp of dry parsley.

Butternut Squash Soup

I made this for a get together with some girl friends and everyone enjoyed it. I made some changes. use about 3 lbs butternut squash. 32oz fl of chicken stock. 1/3 of 8oz of cream cheese. 2 cloves of minced garlic. 1 tart apple. i didn't have any marjoram, i sub for pumpkin pie spice. i used olive oil instead margarine. and salt to taste. much more flavorful!!! Next time i will added some apple cider!!

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

This was delicious, I made it for family night and there was no leftover. I read the reviews and follow their suggestions. I used two package of Italian dressing and beef broth. I added some red crushed pepper and red pepper for some spice. I used 2lbs chuck roast. I will definitely make it again!!

Special Buttercream Frosting

This is a yummy frosting. I never made frosting before but it was better than the birthday you buy at the store. I sub 1/2 of the shortening for butter and use milk (that was all we had) instead of heavy cream. It was good. thanks.

Pumpkin Turkey Chili

I gave it 4 stars bc i did added other things to it. I added one can chili beans, one black beans *drained, 2 cans of diced tomatoes, 1 can of tomato sauce, little can of green chilies, 1 can of pumpkin, 1 whole green pepper (i didn't have any yellow pepper), about 1.5 TBSP of cumin, alot more chili powder, 2 shake of pumpkin pie spice, couple shake of cayenne pepper and chicken broth to thin it out (it's really thick. I brought it into working in a crockpot and they ate it all up. My coworkers thought it was really good. A twist of fall to the normal chili. I would definitely make it again. Maybe throw a jalapeno for some kick.

Incredibly Easy Chicken and Noodles

Easy and yummy. My son loves it. I didn't have frozen noodles, so I used dried wide Amish noodles. I had only small can of broth, so I used water and bouillon cube. I also added some celery seed and dried parsley just couple of shakes. Oh, and some fresh black pepper.

Chai Tea Mix

I made this and it is delicious. I followed as directed except the French vanilla creamer. I use vanilla extract and sugar.. let in it air dry. I did put some black pepper in it.. a couple of twists with the pepper grinder. I use a coffee grinder set at espresso speed to blend the ingredients. It takes a little more time than blender. It doesn't a tons of stuff at the bottom. Thanks

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast

I didn't follow the recipe exactly because I didn't have all it on hand. I substitute cream cheese for sour cream and mozzarella & parmesan for pepperjack. It was delicious. I made is with Oven Fresh Seasoned Potato Wedges (another allrecipe recipe.

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

It was delicious. I forgot to add rice into the mixture, so we just had a side of rice to go with it. I added a Tbsp of lemon juice and a Tbsp of brown sugar. I also added a 8oz can of tomato sauce and added I had some cherry tomatoes that I had on hand. I baked it at about 360 degrees for 35mins covered in foil and the last 5 mins uncovered.
