Special Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2009
This is a yummy frosting. I never made frosting before but it was better than the birthday you buy at the store. I sub 1/2 of the shortening for butter and use milk (that was all we had) instead of heavy cream. It was good. thanks.

Pumpkin Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2009
I gave it 4 stars bc i did added other things to it. I added one can chili beans, one black beans *drained, 2 cans of diced tomatoes, 1 can of tomato sauce, little can of green chilies, 1 can of pumpkin, 1 whole green pepper (i didn't have any yellow pepper), about 1.5 TBSP of cumin, alot more chili powder, 2 shake of pumpkin pie spice, couple shake of cayenne pepper and chicken broth to thin it out (it's really thick. I brought it into working in a crockpot and they ate it all up. My coworkers thought it was really good. A twist of fall to the normal chili. I would definitely make it again. Maybe throw a jalapeno for some kick.

Incredibly Easy Chicken and Noodles

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2009
Easy and yummy. My son loves it. I didn't have frozen noodles, so I used dried wide Amish noodles. I had only small can of broth, so I used water and bouillon cube. I also added some celery seed and dried parsley just couple of shakes. Oh, and some fresh black pepper.

Chai Tea Mix

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
I made this and it is delicious. I followed as directed except the French vanilla creamer. I use vanilla extract and sugar.. let in it air dry. I did put some black pepper in it.. a couple of twists with the pepper grinder. I use a coffee grinder set at espresso speed to blend the ingredients. It takes a little more time than blender. It doesn't a tons of stuff at the bottom. Thanks

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

It was delicious. I forgot to add rice into the mixture, so we just had a side of rice to go with it. I added a Tbsp of lemon juice and a Tbsp of brown sugar. I also added a 8oz can of tomato sauce and added I had some cherry tomatoes that I had on hand. I baked it at about 360 degrees for 35mins covered in foil and the last 5 mins uncovered.
