Autumn Pork Roast

My entire family loved this recipe!! I used fresh garlic, added fresh mushrooms and omitted the squash (only because I didn't have). It was out of this world!!!

Blackened Chicken Alfredo Pizza

The alfredo sauce in this recipe is absolutely amazing! I used Publix's pizza dough in a bag to save time. We made one pizza as the recipe calls for and had a lot of extra sauce so next time I will probably cut it back a little. For my toppings I used fresh basil, chives, spinich, and chicken. Yummm!!

Slow Cooker Beef Pot Roast

Great recipe! I left out the tomato paste (because I didn't have any) and it turned out perfect. I also used fresh garlic. I added my carrots for only one hour at the end so that they were not too mushy. Thank you for sharing!

Balsamic Vinegar and Ginger Bok Choy

I loved this dish, but my husband and son were only so-so on it. It has a great flavor, but picky eaters may not enjoy the bold taste of ginger and balsamic as much.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

The only reason I gave this 5 stars is for all the changes I made. This is a very fattening recipe at 647 calories per serving. I used less butter, 1% milk, less sodium cream of mushroom. I sauteed fresh spinach, mushrooms, garlic, and onion in olive oil and put at bottom of dish. Then I added the chicken which I boiled. Then I poured the white mixture on, added the fresh bacon and mozz cheese. Next time I will mix the mozz into the other items so that it mixes better. Great recipe, just needed a healthy touch and it tasted delicious!

Braised Balsamic Chicken

This is a great recipe. I added mushrooms and used fresh tomatoes and herbs from my garden. It is very similar to a chicken cacciatore recipe - will certainly make this again!

Creamy Chicken and Rice

This recipe is delicious, but really is way too fattening. I cut down on velveeta, left out the butter at the end, used lowfat milk, did not add salt (plenty of salt in the bouillon), used lowfat sour cream, and added a lot of broccoli. My changes added a healthy side and it was still great!

Honey-Garlic Glazed Meatballs

Great Recipe! The only thing I will do different next time is add a little pepper/garlic to the meatball mixture before they bake to give it a little more kick. The sauce is amazing - my guests loved these. I did not need extra sauce like others suggested, but more couldn't hurt. After the meatballs were done baking I put mine in the crockpot and poured the sauce over while the simmered on low - DELICIOUS!!

Baked Scallops

WOW - this was awesome!! My only regret is that I didn't make more. I followed the directions exactly. We used fresh scallops that we caught in the Gulf of Mexico. Next time I may use slightly more garlic, but this one is close to perfect!

Slow Cooked Pork Barbeque

This idea is great, but the pork chops were VERY overcooked. I followed the directions exactly, and since there are only 2 ingredients and one stes, I don't think I messed up. The only way this might work is with much larger cuts of meat and thin BBQ sauce.
