Polish Chicken and Dumplings
Freaking GOOD. The dumpling recipe is off the hook!! It says 1T salt and go for it, they are incredible.

Kiki's Borracho (Drunken) Beans
Excellent. I wondered about adding salt with the first cook of the beans. It slows down cook time. Bean cooking 101. I left out salt until the end when beans were soft. The rest to the tee.

Frijoles de Olla
These are living proof that simplicity can be the best tactic. You can expand on these any way you would like but the basis works fantastic as well.
