i was so worried about making cream puffs because i've heard about how hard it is... but this recipe was so straightforward and simple - and what's more, it WORKED!
I must've read about 40 reviews before actually making mine, and like many people have suggested, I added sugar into the dough (vanilla essence was sold out in supermarket, otherwise that would have gone in too). I also let the dough cool before adding the eggs and poking a hole to let out the steam. Although my first batch sagged (didn't poke hole soon enough), my 2nd batch came out perfect! Even though the first batch didn't really work out, they still taste great and they look alright after i cut them in half and fill them with ice cream. Instead of filling them with the cream, I substituted with vanilla ice cream and added a sprinkle of icing sugar on. These are EXCELLENT.
