World's Best Scones! From Scotland to the Savoy to the U.S.

I love these! One time I made it they didn't rise right, but all other times they've been spectacular! One time I didn't have the sour cream, so I subbed plain yogurt and they were jast as good! I dust the top with sugar over the egg wash for a little extra sweetness and they're great!

Chicken Pot Pie VIII

Wow!! This pot pie is AWESOME!! So easy and delicious! I used a premade crust, added a little extra onion and used 3 cups water plus 3 chicken boullion cubes in place of the broth, but the flavor was still supurb! I didn't have a pie tin, so I used a deep square baking dish and make mine "deep dish" style, which works pretty well and keeps the crust from overriding the flavor of the filling. My guests, husband, and children all wolf this down -- its perfect!!

Cinnamon Bread II

This bread is delicious!!! In fact, I have to make another loaf for my father-in-law because we've all been raving about it! It was a little "doughy"-tasting plain, but with melted butter on it, it was awesome! My one glitch is that I forgot to add in the raisins, so I folded them in at the end just before baking, which didn't really work (some got very swollen and burnt in baking). I intend to do it the "right" way next time around!

Honey White Bread

This bread was light and fluffy and subtly sweet, but it seemed somewhat bland to me. We only ate about half the loaf. It was good, but not the most impressive loaf I have ever had.

Honey Whole Wheat Bread

Ths is about the 4th wheat loaf I've tried and it was the biggest hit by far! All my other loaves sat around after the first slice, but this one was gone in one night -- my entire family devoured it! I did add extra honey and a little extra salt, which did help the flavor, but made the dough extremely sticky and hard to work with for kneading and forming into a loaf pan for baking in the oven. (I worked more bread flour into it to fix this.) I served it warm with some whipped butter infused with roasted garlic spread on it and it was incredible! I am going to be making another loaf of it this afternoon!
