Italian Chicken Skillet

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2014
I didn't change a thing and both hubby and I really enjoyed it.

Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2013
Wow! This was my first ever quiche and everybody loved it! I used half of the butter as others suggested, and sauteed it with fresh garlic, onion, and fresh mushrooms, adding fresh spinach at the end. Those were my only changes. I look forward to making this again and again.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2013
These cookies had a wonderful taste and texture. The only thing I changed was I put 1 1/2 cups of oats in them. When I brought them to work, many of them were cracked. I had to let them sit for a long time on the cookie sheet before lifting them off. Is there a trick to these cookies to make them not so fragile? Should I add all butter and not use shortening? Please help! I want to make these again!

Best Cream Of Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2012
Mine turned out similar to Panera Bread soup without the cheese. I chopped up the broccoli and used a potato masher, and added small pieces of carrots, plus lots of pepper, garlic and Alpine Touch seasoning (from Montana), with a sprinkle of parmesan on top. My soup didn't get as thick as I would have liked but it had a very good taste with the extra seasonings. My hubby even ate a full bowl!

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2012
This was so easy to make and I was able to use it to make 3 different meals. I did not use foil either, but added carrots, onion and red wine, as well as spices. The chicken was falling off the bone and made the house smell so good all day long! Thanks for sharing!

First time making zucchini bread, and it's so yummy! Will be making this more often and will try healthier versions next time.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2011
I haven't made pork chops in years, so was reluctant to try this. It was amazing! I just wish I would have made more for leftovers! I made a few modifications: I used fresh garlic and fresh sauteed mushrooms and a little bit of sour cream, instead of the soup. I didn't have any wine. I look forward to making this again; next time will make extra for leftovers!

Easy Batter Fruit Cobbler

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2010
This is the easiest dessert to make and it tastes incredible! I used a cup of blueberry and a cup of cherry pie filling (only because someone gave us a bunch of leftover pie filling). This is definitely a keeper!

Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2009
This turned out so much better than I thought! I didn't have marsala wine or sherry, but I used the last of some merlot wine. Served it with mashed potatoes. Since I originally rated this, I now have some sherry and it's amazing the improvement in taste of something that was already delicious! When I made this for my parents on our vacation I should have made more because they loved it and wanted the recipe! Thanks, Lisa, for this wonderful dish!

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2009
This was an amazing recipe that we ate by itself and also as a topping on vanilla ice cream-tasted just like apple pie and ice cream!!

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2009
So delicious! I had so many compliments on it. I don't typically make potato salad because I never found a good recipe, until now. Thanks!

I made this and mixed it in with plain/vanilla yogurt. It tasted better than store-bought fruit yogurt!

Hearty Hamburger Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2009
This was delicious! It turned out more like a stew, probably because I added a can of green beans and corn. I omitted barley but added small pasta noodles. A lot of leftovers but it will be eaten this week for lunch. I'll definitely make again especially on a cold day.

Cinnamon Raisin Bread I

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2009
The only change I made to this recipe is for the cinnamon mixture, I used 1/4 cup white and 1/2 cup light brown sugar. I made 2 loaves and a pan of cinnamon rolls. This made an amazing bread! I will look forward to making it again.

Delicious and easy! I plan on making a cherry crisp with this recipe for Christmas instead of cherry pie.

Three Cheese Baked Pasta

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
I made this for a Christmas party and it was a hit. The sour cream is a nice addition and keeps the pasta from getting dry.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
I have been using the same sugar/butter cookie recipe for years and they were delicious, but I always had bits of dried dough laying around the counter that I couldn't use for anything. This cookie dough is the EASIEST to work with; I was able to use every bit of it and, even with rolling out with flour the traditional way, it never got dried out, and it never fell apart when placing the cookies on the cookie sheet! I didn't use parchment paper either. I was happy to throw away my previous recipe. YOU NEED TO TRY THIS RECIPE!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2008
Perfect! I made 6 servings using 2 cut-up chicken breasts, brown instead of white sugar, and baking about 45 minutes. Make sure to line your pan with foil as it makes cleanup easy. I served it with rice but can't wait to add some veggies next time!

Fresh Fruit Cobbler

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2008
LOVED it! Like someone else, before I poured on the batter mixture, I sprinkled some ground cinnamon and pure maple sugar on the apples (could probably use a bit of pure maple syrup if you can't find maple sugar. I found mine in Door County, WI). I used 4 apples and 1 pear. A perfect combination of fruit and bread/cobbler! I look forward to making with other kinds of fruit.
