Simply the best!!!! I added a large can of sliced mushrooms (not drained) and did not add the water. Made a thicker richer gravy. It's now my go to recipe when I need something amazing and I have to work late.

Fried Mozzarella Cheese Sticks

Made them according to directions and wasn't pleased. The second time I made them, I replaced the Italian seasoned bread crumbs with panko plus 2 teaspoons of Italian spice. The panko was the key to a marvelous cheese stick.

Shepherd's Pie Mexicana

I didn't have any potatoes, so I topped it with cornbread batter mixed with cheese and chopped fresh jalapenos and left out the peas. The gang loved it.

Monday Night Hot Wing Dip

I didn't have ranch dressing or cheddar cheese, so I subsituted blue cheese dressing and blue cheese crumbles. Wound up making 4 batches before the game was over!!!!! 12 year old called it the bomb!!!!

Taco Pie

On my first attempt I used the crescent dough as the recipe dictates. Needless to say, the fam did not like it at all. Complained that it did not taste like tacos. Today I made it again and used cornbread mix as the crust. Major cudos from the gain. The cornbread gave it a highly superior taco flavor.

Green Chili Grilled Cheese

Peanut Noodles

Great recipe!!! I substituted soy butter for the peanut butter due to my father's diet restrictions. I also stir fried vegetables (garlic, pea pods, straw mushrooms and edamame). Instead of cayenne, I stir fried the vegetables and pasta with srirachi hot chili sauce, then stirred in the peanut sauce. Major kudos from my family.

Pecan Fondant Logs

Because of LShockey's review of fondant being on the dry side, I covered mine with melted caramel before rolling in pecans. To quote, my family this recipe is the bomb!!!!!!!!!!!
