Easy Pizza Sauce I

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2011
Very easy and tastes good. I do not always use the full amount of oil (sometimes I use none) and I add a squirt of honey. You may not need the full amount of water.

Most Amazing Challah

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2010
This came out very nicely. I cut the recipe in half and used my bread machine to mix the dough. I then moved it to a bowl to rise. One loaf was made into french toast bread pudding and one will be eaten in the normal fashion. The bread is nice and fluffy.

I used butter instead of shortening. These came out wonderfully. These are tall, fluffy and golden brown.

Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2008
This was really tasty. I used only 8oz of cheese because even that was A LOT of cheese. I also used a vegetarian bulk "sausage". My picky 5yo son gobbled this up and my husband thought it was terrific. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because we thought it could used chopped sauted onion instead of the grated onion.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2008
These are the best blueberry muffins I have found. I use regular sized muffins cups/trays and they are nice that way too. If you change the serving number it makes the instructions all funky so be careful and really look it over. These are just as good with out the crumb topping if you are in a hurry.

Asian Coleslaw

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2008
I have to give the recipe only four stars because I played with it a little. I did not have rice vinegar on hand so I used 2 TBS lime juice and the rest I used white vinegar. I was short on oil so I used 5 TBS oil and 1 TBS toasted sesame oil. I used 1 TBS Braggs and 2 TBS soy sauce. I omitted the cilantro because I am not a huge fan and used flat leaf parsley instead. I added slivered almonds as well. This is a wonderful salad. The ginger and garlic make is zesty and the peanut butter makes it creamy. I am brining this to two parties this weekend and even if it is the only vegan/vegetarian thing there I will be quite happy eating a big pile of it.

White Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2008
I made this for my family tonight. I am a vegetarian so I can not vouche for the results myself but my husband and children enjoyed it. I added some chopped onion. I did not have mushroom soup or liquid smoke so I used a can of cream of chicken soup and some Bragg's liquid Amminos instead. My husband said it was like a stroganoff sandwich and my picky son ate two!

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2007
I have been searching forever for a really great biscuit recipe and I FINALLY have found one. Do not be afraid to knead the dough 15-20 times like it says to, the biscuits will still be fluffy and light. I doubled the recipe and got 17 biscuits, 16 for my hungry family's dinner and 1 for "testing" ;) I used 1/2 milk and 1/2 half and half for mine.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2006
This is the best pizza crust recipe I have ever used. It is also so easy to make. When I make it I pretty much just mix everything up all at once and then knead the dough. This makes a wonderful pizza or even bread sticks. My guests always rave about my pizza crust, this is my little secret :)

Taco Pizza

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2006
This was wonderful. I ran out of refried beans so I just mashed a can of plain pinto beans and added cummin. I have two kids who would not eat this so I used 1/4 of the dough to make them a traditional cheese pizza and then I used the rest of the ingredients to make one large taco pizza. My husband and I along with two children who ate it liked it. Very tasty, I will make this again.

Pork Chops with Apple Curry Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2006
My husband told me I should get on and give this a good rating. I made this using a bone in pork roast in the slow cooker. I did not however use as much butter as called for, I just did not need it, also I used two tablespoons curry powder. The meat was tender, the sauce was mild and had a nice aroma. I would make this again.
