Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2013
Wow! This was so...Good! I change it up a little, because I was afraid it was going to be too salty as written. I used a 2 pound lean pork roast. I cut slits in the roast & add slices of garlic. Than seasoned the roast with 1/2 teaspoon of Thyme, 1/4 onions powder, & black pepper. I seared the meat in a pan first & cooked some fresh onions also. Than add to the slow cooker 2 Tablespoons of the dry onion soup mix, 1 cup of beef broth,a red sweet wine ( that's what I had on hand) & low sodium soy sauce. One hour before serving I add 2 TSP. of flour & 1/4 cup of water to thicken the sauce. Serve with brown rice. My husband couldn't stop talking about how much he loved this dish!

Cooked on top of stove 50mins. Next maybe cook in the crock pot. This is very Good!

This was sooo....Good! WOW! Our family loved this! Used Lemon Juice only (had No Lemons) Used half & half (instead of heavy cream). Also used some fresh garlic on chicken. I think this would be good with broccoli in it too. I think I will try that next time.

Spanish Rice Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2009
I have make this several times now. My family loves this recipe. This is very easy to make and really delicious! I follow the recipe exactly, except I don't always add the green pepper. I also add a can of black beans. I do not bake it in the oven , I don't want it to be too dry. So I just add the cheese at the end and cover it for another 5 minutes until the cheese has melted. Will be making this tonight family requested it.

Corned Beef and Cabbage II

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2009
This was the best Corned Beef and Cabbage I have ever had and my family agrees(ever my husband). I usually make it boiled. But this was so moist and flavorful CB & C. I cook it in a aluminum foil bag (I made with heavy duty foil).Than my corned beef did not come with the pickling spice. So I added 2 bay leaves, 10- whole peppercorns, 8-whole allspice. I followed the recipe exactly, except the last hour I removed the oranges and added the cabbage with the meat. I did not use the apple or margarine. I cooked sweet potatoes separately. It added a real nice touch to the corned beef and cabbage. Surprisingly the corned beef didn't have a real orangery taste. This was So........Delicious! . I will defiantly be making this again and not just once a year.

Zucchini Casserole II

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
This is so good! I sautéed the zucchini, finely chopped carrots, onions, & some garlic. Then stirred in the soup & sour cream. I used Pepperidge Farm cubed country style stuffing (about half of a 14 oz. bag). And put all the stuffing on the bottom. I have been looking for this recipe. I lost my copy I got from a friend. I so glad I found it. It’s great with a turkey dinner.

Savory Grilled Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2008
This recipe was excellent. My husband and daughter loved it and so did I. You can not tell you use mayo in it. I doubled the recipe and used only 1 small onion. Also microwave the potatoes for 10 minutes before mixing with the sauce, to cut down the time. Than add some olive oil to the bottom of the foil before adding potatoes. Would definitely make this again.
