Alison's Rainier Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2013
So, so, unbelievably dry. Made them for a friend who is really active - he couldn't even eat one without it crumbling. We took the rest and used them as a granola topping on yogurt, which was pretty good.

Garlic Cheese Chicken Rollups

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2009
Super easy and went over well with my guests. I didn't even bother with the butter. Used a pre-made mozzerella-garlic mix. My household is gluten free so in lieu of bread crumbs I used crushed corn chex and seasoned with italian seasoning and seasoned salt. Great!

Fantastic! No changes! I served with red wine, mashed potatoes, and herby vegatables.

Booyah Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2007
Yay! I have been looking high and low for a booyah recipe that does Door County justice. (Door County, WI has a large Belgian contigent.) This was great! My only regret was that I didn't have the pork on hand, I will remember next time.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2007
This was great! I usually like my lasagna less meaty, but this was fantastic. My only problem was that I think I cooked the sauce down a bit too much, there was not any sauce left at all. I got alot of compliements from my crew of hungry gamers.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2006
I made this dish with the following changes: Added 1/2 bag of frozen mixed vegetables Added (1) box of freeze-dried potato slices ( you can get these from a potatos au gratin kit) Added 12 oz water because there was not enough sauce. I used bisquick biscuit mix, water, and parsley to make drop biscuits on top. Just before I added the biscuit topping, I stuck a wooden spoon in and chopped up the chicken. It was great!!! Next time I think I will add another can of sauce and the rest of the bag of veggies, and maybe some celery too.

Honey Mustard BBQ Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2006
We didn't have alot of time to marinade, so we baseted while grilling. I only had four chops, but used the entire sauce for 8! Was quick and delicious. Try with Terriyaki noodles and sweet corn!
